In August 2013, AIC announced this new production system, that would allow for AIC to produce an anime within 3 months of the start of the project, and would make projects cheaper to produce. This new system would have only certain animators animating the same characters, thus getting rid of the major need for an animation director, which is the biggest expense for a rushed production. AIC also stated that with this new system, AIC would utilize their own recording and editing facility AIC Eastside Studio, in which they set up earlier in the year. Doing this will allow for AIC to flexibly respond to popular voice talents schedules. The first anime to utlize this new production system will be Super Seiyuns Brothers, with animation production being headed by AIC PLUS+.
