- I decided to take a trip to Marrakesh (Morocco) with my mom and I will share the first impressions of Marrakech with you. ;)
We are going to spend few days in the incredible city of Marrakech, one of the imperial cities of Morocco
To be honest, I AM BLOWN AWAY! The culture, the atmosphere, the people, the art, the colors, the food... everything is incredibly beautiful and unique!
Is Marrakesh worth visiting?

Great video. We have been to Marrakesh six times & are booked for 22 nights next September, our favourite holiday destination, fantastic people, culture, atmosphere amazing country. Fell in love with Morocco when I worked in Rabat for 8 months in 2000

I was in Marrachesh in May 2022. Country is beautiful, people are very friendly and the food spectacular and delicious, I was fascinated with the cities I visited, Fes, Merzouga, Sahara desert,and of course Marrachesh and other cities I can not remember, I will visit Morocco again to explore other cities, it is an excited country to experiment I was very impressed of what I experienced I thought only will be mountains. Great vid Gabi - I was in Marrakech 3..4..5th Sept 2022 - My first time in that beautiful city - Really enjoyed my stay - I was staying near the main train station the hotel was called - Opera Plaza ..REALLY nice hotel bit expensive cost me £120 per night for Bed n Breakfast ...location was great and only 10 ..15 mins from the Main square - look foward to seeing more of your vids

Nice. One question, why so many of your compatriot males, go to Europe? For healthcare, paycheck? Why ? Why do they behave so bad once in Europe.? The majority. And without papers ! I just could not find the reason, it does not make sense.

I was there in 1969 smoking kif and drinking mint tea. Are the snake charmers still in the center? Many beautiful places in Morocco, Atlas mountains, the flamingos on Agadir beach, Casablanca, the Sahara

I've stayed at this hotel, its very nice but difficult to find.
I'm planning to visit Marrakech this year. Is it east to wander around the old city with a map? Is it safe to take a taxi? Are there scam drivers? Most of exchanges are in cash so I guess you should have a lot of cash with you which doesn't sound safe! 🤔
Yes it's safe to take a taxi in the city, every taxi car has a registered number showed outside the car, you can write it down somewhere. In case you forgot stg in the taxi that would help you find it so easily in the taxi local station.
There's also green taxi number' service that you can use in Marrakech, they come to take you wherever you're in the city with a good price.
Taxis in cities usually use the counter from one place to another, you can nicely ask for it.
from the airport, I think the higher price they could suggest to pick you up is 20 euros .

exchaging money on air port is very very expensive, next time i suggest to exhange just little money for taxi and basic needs ;)

be careful with the bread yall. i had food poisoning several times throughout morocco from bread or wheat products. i suggest buying bread from bakeries
