Most ATP points EVER had Djokovic 16950! The only GOAT! ☝☝👍👍👍
4 challengers in the BIG4-ruling era, Kei Nishikori, Milos Raonic, Marin Čilić, and Grigor Dimitrov. I respect all of them from bottom of my heart.
They all had chance to win Grand Slams many times if BIG4 had not existed in the same time. Though only Čilić won a Grand Slam after all, they have shown us many spectacular matches against BIG4, impressing us.
Their great achievement in the world of tennis should not be forgotten for a long time.
David Ferrer, Tomas Berdych, Stan Wawrinka and Wilfred Tsonga also...
They would have completely ruled the tour nowadays, very unlucky for them playing against the goats back to back every tournament.
@@SergioGonzalez-kq4ot I agree.
I mentioned about only players who were born in around 1990s, and indeed the players you chose are surely victims of BIG4... They all were born in early 1980s, so I am amazed again to know how long the BIG4-rulling era continued...
@@SergioGonzalez-kq4ot Del potro as well..
For sure! If it wasn't for his injuries he would have been alongside the big4 no doubts, amazing player!
@@TIGER-xl7xg Oh, I totally forgot about a very important player! He's also around the same age as Nishikori and so on.
Just a reminder, the points changed in 2008-09 so that's why the numbers are so much higher. Focus on the distribution of points in the top 10, not the total points.
Same idea, point dominance% should be also shown
Still you can see how much the big three were ahead of the rest
Djokovic's 16.950 points would be highest anyway. He won 3 slams and 6 masters that year. Plus rest of the points
Kuerten was a beast in 2001 before the hip injury 🇧🇷
@WhoAmI-vi6pl yeah, he won the Masters 1000 in Cincinnati beating Roddick, Haas, Ivanisevic, Kafelnikov, Henman and destroying Rafter by 6-1 6-3 in the final, also won the ATP finals in 2000 simply beating Sampras and Agassi in the semis and final on an indoor hard court

@@astrahcat1212 Everyone think it's going to Be Rune...but i think it's probably someone like Ben Shelton secretly...

Thank you, good job! 👍 Can you do the same for countries, i.e. totalling points for the top 100 or top 1,000?!
Fantastic job!
Wish to see the world line where Kei Nishikori could become part of Big 5, his playstyle was not fancy but still very attractive.
Andy Murray was probably one of the 20 best tennis players of all time. The fact that he only lead ATP ranking for less than a year and remained fourth for so long just show how fierce a competition he had. Djoko, Nadal and Federer were all simultaneously battling for the title of GOAT, the 3 of them are probably the top 3 best players of all time and that's really an amazing thing to see, since it's common to see in sports rivalries between 2 great players to become the top, but it's very rare to see a 3-way rivalry where all the 3 of them are very matched and each of them had their ups and downs and even during downs, they still managed to beat one another, spectacular thing to witness. Federer is probably the most skilled tennis player of all time, his finesse and technique are on par to no one, Nadal is probably the most athletic player of all time, his strength and ball speed is unrivaled, while Djoko is probably the most diverse player of all time, while he didn't particular exceled in no trait, he was an awesome all arounder, and at was great are everything, capable of keeping the ball in court for the longest time (his best trait was probably his resistance now that I think of it). All of this to say, how pitiful it is for Murray to be so underrated when he was clearly a star, but he just so happened to be born in an era of 3 black holes that devoured everything possible.
I would probably put Murray in top-15 of all times, if you look at his career resume he fares better against guys like Edberg, Wilander or even Becker in most departments, but grand slam count...When i make top-10 of all times players list he always ends up in my honorable mentions together with the likes of Becker or Rosewall (again we are talking all-time here, so it has to include Rosewall, dude won 15 freaking Pro Slams and 8 grand slams on top of having respectable h2h against The Rocket himself! It has to count for something!...)
Marat Safin is my all time favourite.
😂😂
@davidcb4946 Nothing funny about having a fave player. The funny thing is when people proclaim their fave player the goat, regardless of what stats are showing, like Federer's fans for example.
Bet religion has nothing to do with it 😂

Leyton Hewitt in my opinion was a very underated player. He was a very good player.
Dude was supposed to be the next Sampras but he failed to secure that spot and slowly faded away after the Federer era.
He was my favourite. But let`s be honest, he was too fragile to be long time leader like Sampras, Fed, Djokovic.
He still did pretty well though.

Amazing infograph! Andy Murray was on top of the world for quite a while. Big 4 is really a thing!
Big 3. You can't possibly add Murray to Djokovic-Nadal-Federer.
He was top 1 just for less than a year and when the top 3 weren’t in their best days so this just prove that top 4 is a british non-sense Murray is far behind them in every way, titles, technique, legacy regularity.
@@wouternieminen844 The biggest title you can win as an athlete is the Olympic victory. For this reason, all the big players across all sports take part. For example, Federer, Djokovic, Nadal and also Michael Jordan. Andy Murray has 2 Olympic victories in singles! I'm sure Federer and Djokovic would have dipped a few Grand Slam titles against an Olympic victory!
@@MaxMustermann-zj6zc Its for sure an amazing achievement by Murray. But I doubt that the Olympic gold is considered more important than winning a GS by these players. Even if we equal 2 Olympic gold as 2 GS, than Murray still doesn't get close to the big 3. I see that even Marc Rosset won Olympic gold in 1992. Rosset was a very average player in his time.
@MaxMustermann-zj6zc Olympics isn't the most prestigious award for a tennis player; that's like saying that football's most important event is not the World Cup. Différent sports have different main events

Mark Philippoussis, Mariano Puerta, Andre Agassi, David Nalbandian, Fernando Gonzalez, Gaël Monfils, Tomáš Berdych, Mikhail Youzhny, Ernest Gulbis, Roberto Bautista Agut, Matteo Berretini, Nick Kyrgios would win 1 more Slam than what they actually won.
Ask in the comments if you are interested in which Slams and in which years these players would triumph.
You are wrong assuming they would have definitely won the Slams without the B3. Guys like Ferrer or Gascquet could have very easily lost to unseeded players that were beaten by the B4 too, and even if they went to the final any of the other Top 10 could have beaten them too.
I think Tsitsipas would have won less than 4, and I'm sure Medvedev would have won all 4 extra Slams given he was clearly the best of the rest outside the B4 and he doesn't clearly choke against the rest of the field. Same thing with Roddick and Wawrinka at their peak (unlike guys like Ferrer, Tsonga or Gascquet).
@@rodrigoodonsalcedocisneros9266 I know what you mean and I’m not assuming or saying that these guys would “definitely” win extra Slams. This is an extremely hypothetical scenario and the comment only illustrates that there were four Grand Slams where Tsitsipas was the player who advanced farthest than anyone else. Of course, it is possible that he could lose to other in-form players beaten by the Big Four.
