No mention of Bonnie, Malcoms dog passing or burial in Ep. 1, I was so sad R. I. P. Bonnie! I hope she's chasing fish hooked on a line flapping on deck and freeing bogged cattle wherever she is!
Up north losing dogs is a given, my mum grew up in Cape tribulation and says she used to lose 3-4 dogs a year probably because they wander off too close to the water when you aren't paying attention to them, sad but is what it is, they aren't meant to spend their lives in a backyard and doing a lap of the neighbourhood here and there, theyre happier having adventures.
Bonnie ate 1080 fox bait it should be band. It's horrible stuff and there is no antidote if taken . Studdies showed that more native animals are killed by it than the intended targets but it's still used every day in Australia 🤦♂️😞
Yep that's to bloody hot for me 126F = 52C and I believe it got stuck there in summer for almost a week waiting for parts to fix my truck, it got up to 50C so I worked at night.
@johnnytheprick Truck driving in that area and delivery's to mines as an owner operator you go where the money is. That is in the past now but a good life.
@@benclarke8743 i guess they could just not kill it for this tiny filet and just leave this species be, instead of wasting life like this. especially if its a fish that is not really tasty.

Not long discovered Malcolm and his work. Brilliant to find such an original gem, this body of work is priceless.
2022 still love Malcolm as I did when I was a kid watching him on TV
John Laws would always say that Malcolm Douglas was the guy that inspired him to buy a Toyota landcruiser
Does Norm still call him ?
AWESOME DOC....

Still an unbelievable temperature. That would drive me crazy.@@benh4222
Poor Bonnie 😢 1080 still being used to this day. Horrible stuff that should be banned
shocking to see how much of the fish is thrown away by these "professional fishermen" 8:25
That’s because it’s fucking rubbish mate, I’m surprised they make a living off this shit, I wouldn’t feed it to a mongrel dog.

They salt the excess fish then donate it . ( been covered in previous episodes ) a lot of it is given away .
