Great vid, thanks! Not to side step, but could you share your phone mount setup? Have the same bike and camera, but I really like where and how you have your phone!
Heading out on a trip where I’ll be in bike for 7-8 hours/ day. Can you recommend a setting for capturing video? Battery life will be primary concern. Not planning on editing using any slow mo in post production. Thinking of getting the remote and mounting to bars. Can you comment on general settings that will give me decent quality video and battery life. Thanks!
For best battery life, turn off GPS and wifi. Set the screen brightness way down, set the screen saver to the minimum, and turn off the front screen (9 & 10). For video, I’d shoot 2.7k/60 at a minimum, 4k will use more battery.
Do you use the Gopro remote? I've found on the 7 it is very unreliable to connect and I can spend 10 minutes trying to connect the phone and remote. Any idea if this is fixed in the 10?
2:55 this is make me feel dizzy is the EIS still on ?
I’m picking one up soon!
I have a 7 which is nice… I had the Session4 for years and the 7 was a huge upgrade, but the new 10 looks pretty slick.
Yea the little camera has a super clear image, all the colors of the woods are vibrant... I'm still using the hero 7 black but its time for an upgrade
Like your phone mount and bag setup. Mind sharing what you use and how you mount?
Motominded Stout Mount & Perfect Squeeze. The bag is a cheap airsoft bag from Amazon, attached via 2 voile straps.

I don’t use it, sorry. My 7 was a little glitchy in general though. 8 was better. 10 is a little glitchy when plugged in to charge tho.
Silky for the win!!

What editing software do you use, and what are your master settings for export
Premiere - Shot in 4k/60/Superview - Edited in a 2.7k timeline & exported as 2.7k/60, HEVC h265, 30Mbps
do you use any protective cover?
Not on the 10. I did on the Hero 8 since the front lens wasn't replaceable though.
did you have any overheating problems with it?
Never have. Not once. It only overheats indoors, zero airflow, recording long sessions.
@@WASemiHardEnduro ok, that’s good and thanks for the answer
what map application do you use?
Gaia
Love the hero10 but too big for helmet imo
