- Phew! We made it to Masters somehow! I honestly didn't expect to make it to Masters since I've always been a full-time QuickPlay enjoyer. I've been having a lot of fun in ranked and I don't know why I didn't get into it sooner. Let's see how far I can go as a Mercy one-trick in (console) ranked.
This match was a bit tough at first. Their DPS were really good and I often got caught in a bad angle, but we manage to play around them. Hope you enjoy this video!

Guardian angel target priority: Prefer facing target
Guardian angel sensitivity: 100%
Toggle Guardian angel: On
Toggle Angelic Descent: Off
Button binds are default :)
(Some of the settings have been changed over time but these are the ones I had at the time of this video❤️)

Yes! A Mercy console player, she's one of my mains but it's hard to really see what I could do on console since console players are harder to find. Can't wait to check out more of your videos!

i know this is an 11month old video , but i wanted to come back to it and say that i have been using your mercy settings since the beginning of season 8 and playing mercy feels so much smooth , i have more control and i was able to climb to gm both seasons ! i love your console mercy gameplay 💓

Do you have any tips for climbing? Im on console but Im hardstuck in plat and idk if its my fault. I avg around 3 deaths a game and 2.5k amp a game, I seem to keep losing one per win though.
Hello 👋🏻 First of all plat is pretty good! Hmm your stats sound pretty solid, tbh I think this season seems to be tougher to climb in and keep in mind that Mercy is probably one of the hardest support to climb with solo. I do think that because she relies on her teammates so much, she struggles in these ranks because people don’t know how to play WITH her (also keep in mind that the current ranking system is flawed). Here are some small tips that could help change a lot of team fights:
1. Keep track of the scoreboard and teammate’s ults- this is because Mercy allows teammates ult charge meter to charge faster when they do damage while damage boosted. Ultimates in Overwatch 2 are very impactful so damage boosting certain teammates when they are mid way of getting their ult so they get it faster could make the difference in the next team fight.
2. Rez prioritization- when a teammate dies the ideal thing is to fall back and regroup with your team, but sometimes you may find yourself in a position where you have to make a choice of who to rez when two of your teammates are down. You have to ask yourself “who should I rez here and why?” “Is this team fight winnable if I rez this teammate?” “Is one of the teammates a support and am I going to need them to help me keep the team alive?” “Does the teammate have an impactful ult that could turn the fight in our favor?” “Does this teammate have the ability to come back from spawn faster compared to the other one?” ALWAYS question the motive of your rezzes but do not overthink it if the rez seems completely safe
3. Damage boost target priority- you have probably heard you should pocket your dps while on Mercy which is true, but by a quick look at the scoreboard you can see who in your team is making the most damage that you can take advantage of (if they are a safe target to pocket) sometimes I find myself pocketing a zen instead of my dps because they are just doing more damage
4. Watching and learning- this could mean watching other Mercy’s in higher ranks play but also watching your own replays! Everytime you have a bad game, go back to the replay and think “what could have I done better here?” Or “how could I have avoided this death?”
5. Have fun/take breaks!- if you are in a losing streak it’s okay to sometimes take a break and continue later. Don’t be upset if you don’t seem to climb, the rank system is not the best at the moment. Don’t pay too much attention to your loses, just focus on what you could’ve done differently. Sometimes it’s your teammates sometimes it might be you! I’ve had so many bad games that make me question myself but don’t put too much thought into it, it will only discourage you and tilt you and make you play badly

I’m stuck in silver because of dumb teammates.. it’s so annoying because I outheal and damage boost but they don’t take that as an advantage. So it’s like I’m damage boosting nothing… 😞🙄
Hi! I understand, it’s very frustrating. My advice would be to try to make call outs for your dps as much as possible (in voice chat or through the pinging system) this could encourage them to focus on enemy targets more. Other than that, Mercy just struggles a bit in these ranks sadly since she’s so dependent on her teammates. But I think persistence is key, you will eventually get a few lucky games where you will encounter teammates that will be easier to enable until you rank up!! ❤ wish you lots of luck!

Hey i wanted to ask you how you are not seeing any Controller remotes under your Ult or your capabilities. I searched everything in the setting about HUD but didn’t find anything about it. Please help me
Hello! I believe it is because I’m watching my own replay of a match and there, the controller buttons/keybinds won’t show under abilities, etc. I’m not sure if there is a setting to remove them during the actual games 🤔

@@Elmor_town Hello there! Thank you❤️If you mean the crosshair settings, I’m pretty sure they changed it up a bit and now you can find it in: Options> Controls> Hero & HUD> Reticle
There, you can adjust the size, color and type of crosshair. In that same tab you can also choose a specific hero’s crosshair to customize or you can change the crosshair for all heroes at once :)

@Moon Wolfy do you think I should do the same? I just hit plat rn I'm plat 3 but I lost 3 games I'm a switch player and my controller has really bad drift and sometimes I can't move should I still try to hit Dimond or just leave the rank?
@@themysticsmoothglider2243 congrats on hitting plat! 🥰Honestly I think you could try to play a couple of games and see how it goes! Unless you think the joystick drift affects your performance too much, you can always continue next season! I think I read something about rank reset being removed for Season 4 but I’m not 100% sure that will be happening. If they do end up removing it, that would mean you would stay on your current rank for Season 4, which means you won’t have to climb back to plat at the start of the season :)
@Moon Wolfy ah ty^^ I kinda use a controller like Xbox and Playstation but the thing I use to move the circle black thingy has drift any solutions/not the you should buy a new. Controller solutions.
@@themysticsmoothglider2243 okay so I don’t own a switch but I did a little research… the easy fix could be calibrating your controller going to Home Menu>System Settings>Controllers and Sensors>Calibrate Control Sticks
The hard fix, which is what I’ve done with my ps4 controllers is undoing the screws and actually opening it up and cleaning the sticks from the inside myself, HOWEVER THIS IS RISKY if you haven’t done it before, because it’s hard to put everything back together. If you plan on doing this I would suggest finding someone who has done it before :) I hope you can fix this, I know how annoying drift is, I’ve bought many controllers because of it 😅

Hi! I don’t use kmb on console (I am 100% against ximming) or even on PC, I can only handle controller haha :) It probably looks like it because I play on high sensitivity

@@am_kola Hi! The horizontal and vertical sens are at max, aim smoothing is decreased to 1 or 2 and I also lower the aim assist strength so Mercy doesn’t lock into targets so much for smoother flicks :)

Hi there! I’m not sure at the moment if I’ve changed other aim settings but I believe these are the ones that matter:
Vertical and horizontal sensitivity: 100
Aim Smoothing: 2 (sometimes 0 but I find it too fast)

I understand why you’d have it there, it’s easier to use crouch somewhere where you don’t have to let go of the joysticks to use it :) I personally use back paddles on my controller so I can just use crouch by pressing the back of my controller

something thats really bothering me at the start is way you keep unnecessarily healing your roadhog at half health. he can heal himself, it gives him more ult charge, and you have to remember to not healbot and save some heals for your ana. shes best for healing tanks or the rest of your team while youre going in with your pocket. I also dont see u pocketing much, just kind of skimming around to anyone whos shooting. Try not to do that. mercy isnt a main healer so you shouldnt try to keep everyone in check, just focus on your pocket and people in critical that your ana may not have los of. Your ga is really strong and a great combo for ana because you can get to those people just beyond her reach with your movement. there was also a bunch of staggering the first round, the minute your tank died yall shouldve backed up, which is what you were trying to do i think but your team didnt seem to have that sense. lmao eveyrone made such weird decisions, especially your cas. first time he ulted it was after another cas??? like bro ur gonna die first, n the second time the team fight was already over. And then your soldier popped ult camping highground but out of los of most of the enemy team and was just chilling there lmaoo. this felt like a bronze game. too lazy to watch the rest but im 0-3 rn so this game revived my sanity. overall good mercy for console master ur team was doing sum weird shit
