Typical of california, our litigation fearful gym does not have a simple high bar like this one. Although this is a low bar. But as soon as I find a bar to work out on, I'm going to relearn how to do this and many other moves. From age 13 to 30, along with water sports, these were the things I did for exercise. Although I didn't consider them exercise, they were just fun. Then I started working out with weights and subsequently lost everything except for injuries, overeating and bulk!
Alternative: Always these poorly equipped gyms for calisthenics athletes.😐 If you don't have a low bar, you can also do most of the exercises on gymnastic rings. 🙂
@@PullupDip Do you mean a pair of rings to use on some of the chin-up bars in the gym? The bars are generally about two-and-a-half meters off the floor. If you think that would work, I'll give it a try. Maybe you even sell rings and straps? I'm going to order the parallettes, the taller ones, today or tomorrow. I hope they ship from the US because I'm excited to start using them!
@@higherresolution4490 Yes, exactly, simply hang the gymnastic rings on the pull-up bar at the required distance. Of course, you can then adjust the height accordingly so that you have an easy entry. That works in any case.
