people will do anything on TikTok to get views/likes. most don't have any idea what they are doing especially in the world of coins.
The best part of the video is the look on your face Daniel, it says everything
Makes coins cleaner and newer... lol lol lol. Holy cow
Funny stuff Thanks for sharing
4:10 lol look at that guy cleaning a silver bar in EZest with his bare hands. So bad your skin lol.
Imagine all the beautiful coins ruined by this kind of video...because people will try it unfortunately.
OMG I am trying the WIPE WIPE method! 🤣🤣
😂😂😂
I gotta get me some of that green stuff works well 🤣🤣
lol that wheat at 125 almost looks like the steel 43 i dug a few weeks back... maybe i need some green stuff... ha ha
I hear that 😂
I wish it was that easy! I've got hundreds of pennies I need to clean!
Never clean your coins!!
Hilarious. Thanks Daniel
I recently bought a $5 gold liberty from an original mint bag stored in a vault and it came with dark residue in spots along with a light haze. Do you recommend EZ-est or just acetone? I may just send it in to NGC for conservation to be safe
Send to NCS, NGC's conservation.
😂this is why I don't do tik tok. Or much social media in general. I really hope enough people can see through videos like this and do their own research!
Had me rolling, "How does a 2016 get clean to a 2020" it's magic
Clicks for the ignorant.
How to take a potentially valuable coin and make it worthless in just three easy steps😂
I only use acetone on PVC rescues. I received an old collection (50+ years) stored directly in PVC coin pages, no protection, not kept in climate control. A good mix of all metals, copper, bronze, brass, aluminum bronze, silver, zinc, iron, etc. All were green and gooey. I soaked them for 24 hours in acetone. About a 90% success rate, the coppers and bronze took a little more work. Not suggested for rare or unc. coins. Have them professionally done.
The coins already had a problem, no way to reverse some damage but the acetone didn't damage the coins.
60 grit sand paper, and wire brush!!!! LOL !!!!! DO NOT DO IT!!
Holy cow, that 2nd one. I've used solvents like naphtha to de-grease coins, and even done the aluminum foil, distilled water plus baking soda thing on silver. But stacking every single bad cleaning method on top of each other? Yeah they revealed a coin. But is it worth as much as the time and chemicals put into extracting it? Just my 2 cents worth. And theirs. If it is even real.
Another reason i don't like tic tok
You took the words right out of my mouth!!!
Funny 😂🤡🤯
Дружеский привет! Цинковый пенни чистят с подвохом! Подстава!)))
My 12 year old daughter tortures me with that African guy who tapes the coin down and harshly cleans half of the coin. She knows I hate it. I saw him ruin a $250 1700s coin one time.
Why am I not surprised?
Guaranteed way to clean your coins: Step 1: Put them in an envelope. Step 2: Mail them to me. Step 3: There is no step 3. 🤣🤣🤣
I saw a video yesterday. A guy has a bowl with a piece of aluminum foil on the bottom, dumps in a pile of table salt, stirred in hot water, and a few drops of fabric softener. Then dips silver coins in.
Looked like it worked, but who knows what the long-term effect of this would be.
Substitute baking soda for the salt and leave out the fabric softener and that's how ppl cleaned silverware for decades.
@FrankyRedEyes I guess there was no Calgon in the 1800's. 😀
Yeah there's a weird reaction between tarnish, hot water, salt, and tin foil. The reaction makes the tarnish jump from the coin to the foil. Works for bars or silverware. I wouldn't do it on a coin.
@TheWinstonDouble In the 70's an 80's I cleaned some of my coins thinking I was improving them. Now I don't clean any coin. I wait for the right coins that don't need cleaning, and buy those.
@@lindanelson8400 I still clean my pocket change finds. I'll put a few inconsequential hairlines in some commemorative quarter in order to get the fingerprints off. But for my good ones, yah I don't clean them. I like the ones with cool toning patterns.
WOW...
And We All Wonder What's Wrong With Society Today😢
How to spend 10 bucks to clean a cent😂😂
You said you have cleaned coins when you sold them at your shop did you sell them as cleaned coins?
I don't cleaned coins like you're thinking, I restore coins professionally. I send them to PCGS, NGC and ANACS. You cannot tell they have been restored because I use substances that can't harm the coin and each coin had a foreign substance that needed to be removed from the coin. The coins are not problem coins, if a coin a problem coin then I most certainly inform the customers. You can check my website and see that.
The only time I clean a coin is to what year it is
I’m going to bed I’m watching you Dan react to these stupid videos 😂
NO TIK TOK HERE😂
Dear sir , Oh yes, it's a great way to clean your car tires. tores
I'm not going to say the name of what app that you're talking about because it is nothing more than a scammer haven and always has been nothing more than
Is it Telegram?
What is that name of the app that he's talking about

Why do they make these videos? For the CLICKS. Learn on reliable sources.
Yeah, fake edited videos...people drive me nuts....DONT DO THIS!!! LMAO 🤘
The idiots of tik tok!! I hope my doctor doesn’t watch tik tok to diagnose me! 😂
Another fake video! Have a great day Sir Daniel!
My opinion, cleaning a coin will never increase the value.
If you're removing PVC residue or tape and glue it will.
