Born and raised there from 1980-2003. A lot has changed I must say. Unfortunately anytime I go back to visit. I’m very disappointed with the condition of the city from when I was growing up there. Sadly it just doesn’t feel like home anymore.
All Canada changed a lot in last 10-15 years

Downtown St. Catharines sure has changed a ton since I lived there in the late 80s and early 90s! Besides the banks and churches, I recognized only one store.

Nice Job! You should do a series with Welland Canal, Lake-Side Park, Brock University and the New Stadium for the summer games, Niagara College with the Viticulture Works and Only? Cannabis Course, take a look at some of the outstanding Facility fields built at Govenor Simcoe and Sir Winston Churchill Secondary etc.
Stroll down memory lane at the OLD Mill and the Pen Centre.
GM tour would be kool where they build some incredible Engines and Transmissions these days...

May I suggest an updated "walk about". As of 06/27/2023 demolition of the old Harding Hotel, aka Gord's Place, aka the Honest Lawyer has begun. Making room for what will be St.Catharines tallest building. The sky crane shown while walking down St.Paul St. now has a real tall building under it. Big changes in a year. Happy Canada Day! eh! It's a little early. So. Sorry.

God! Our city is so boring! No outstanding architectural features at all! Everything looking Edith old and decrepit,or ugly cookie cutter structures all over..and our city is spelled St. Catharines, not Catherine’s nor Catherines!
St. Catharines sucks i hate it here man
Saddens me that this city has gone down the drain. The downtown used to be livable, vibrant and have lots of people. It no longer functions. The city has nothing to offer anymore.
I wouldn't say nothing to offer if you go to Montebello you might score some heroin or you could go down to 12 Mile Creek you might step on the needle and get some sort of disease because they don't control the junkies going down there making camping sites.
