NZ did vote for an immediate ceasefire and was one of 121 countries to do so at the UN Assembly. So not sure what your referencing? Australia sustained, USA and Isreal voted against the resolution. But NZ voted for the resolution calling for a ceasefire.

@@lisamora8141 Stronger wording and additional diplomatic pressure would be appropriate. Right now NZ is still too passive. At least the same level of diplomatic pressure as on Russia should be taken because what's happening here is much worse than in Ukraine.

There are 158 signatory countries that are bound by the genocide convention (israel is a fully bound member), any one of these member countries can effect the convention, any one, it only takes one. Actions would be taken immediately, immediately without delay at the second one country initiates it. Inform your government you want this genocide convention effected immediately now. Search the genocide convention to find out which countries are signatory members.

They are unbelievably evil. Israel is also evil, but Hamas is enemy #1. They don't even treat their own people as humans. Hamas bears most of the blame for every Palestinian killed. Hamas is unable to exist peacefully in the 21st century and pretending that they have a just cause or pretending that they can exist peacefully in a 21st century world is incredibly wrong.

The solution can only come from the region and it is the responsability of the Arab countries to act together as the Palestinian people can’t rely on true help from the USA, its European allies and even the UN whatsoever.
The Arab states should TOGETHER with one voice:
- condemn the genocide
- call for an immediate ceasefire
- pull out all their diplomats from Israel
- expel all Israeli diplomats from the Arab countries
- boycott all products from Israel and stop any form of trade and relationship with Israel whatsoever
- call out for a sovereign and independent state of Palestine which will be built with the help and money of the Arab states
- call the UN to remove the permanent seats of the so called big 5 countries and their right to veto any resolution. All nations are equal - no more privileges.
