I love watching these videos, no gimmicks, nothing fake just two lovely people taking it easy and enjoying life. There is a similar vlog by an American couple called "S & S & The RV Cats" which I also love watching.
What a beautiful little black and white bird. What a perfect day to curl up, read a book and eat a cookie🥰🥰🥰. Bet your little home smelled so inviting. Thank you for allowing me to visit.
I watched this last night feeling rundown and starting to get sick, and the video was so lovely, quiet and kind of meditative and actually made me feel better. Something about being snug on a rainy day is so soothing and makes one appreciate the tiny things in life. I'd love more on rainy days of just the quiet of sitting inside your van that seems so cozy, looking out the windows, with not much going on and yet still it reinforces that the small things in life are so nice to have. Thanks for this.
Hi, I live in USA, and I watch a lot of British vlogs. You and your husband are great. He’s so funny. I love it, and I’m gonna subscribe. My dog died last week and I’ve had a hard day of crying, but you made me laugh. Especially when you said those cookies are going in and out like a fiddlers elbow I lost it that cracked me up. Thank you so much for making my day better.
I live in a van full time, over 3 years now. I love watching your vids. you somehow center me, I find your vids very relaxing to watch...Dont change. Thankyou
Good because we want them to be relaxing with a laugh every now and then. There is far too much drama in the world without us adding to it. 😁👍. We hope you are enjoying being full time and saving some cash along the way 👍
Best part of the day when you have a motorhome is watching new arrivals with a caravan putting up their awning! We used to have bets how long the couples would be civil to each other!!😂😂😂
Best part of a caravan is you don't have to put up an awning, and have more living space than a campervan too. I have a lwb Sprinter campervan and love it, but prefer the caravan we had before, the awning (porch style) was a bonus. Plus once on site we had a convenient car to see the sights. Like both camping alternatives, but prefer the caravan.
I really enjoyed the videos of you in the little red camper but snoopy looks so much more comfortable and roomy. So happy for you guys. As always I love the scenery and the history you give with the video. Thanks
Hi Carol and Ken - it genuinely heartens me to see you both comfortable in the new van - life is too short to be without a decent bed and a loo on hand 😂❤
When we get older we become window monitors, why is that? I get a chuckle from everyone of your videos, thank you. The drone footage is always the best and I love Carol's narration.
You can’t beat waffles, we’ve found they are very versatile. Thank you for completing our Friday evening again. It always surprises us when we get better internet speeds out and about than at home on fibre. You’re still our favourite channel. All the best both of you ❤
Just happened upon your channel. I live in Cumbria, having moved to the UK 3 years ago from South Africa. It's lovely to see our beautiful county through someone else's eyes 😊. Sorry the weather was a bit pants. Winter hasn't quite let go, but as you say, it's beautiful in the Lake District regardless.
Hi Ken and Carol we stayed there a while back in our van. Weather was very similar. There is a nice walk down to the town from there and a steep walk back. Enjoy your new van. Love the videos and music too.
Its brilliant how you both seem so relaxed in your Consort, as we are in ours, even in bad weather they are a brilliant place to be. Debz does not use the oven much she prefers the air fryer or microwave that we carry around with us. Looked like typical lake district weather mind 🙂 Take care, Trev Febz and Tyler xx
I'm craving cookies now! I'm going to get some of those for our first motorhome trip this spring, funnily enough also to Keswick. Enjoy your travels and thank you for sharing the video, it seems as though Snoopy is proving to be a lovely, comfortable space and perfect for hunkering down on those cold, windy days.
Regarding your red pepper 'problem'. Slice the pepper in half, remove all seeds and stalk. Place the halves under a hot grill until the skin blackens & blisters. Remove & place in a plastic bag until cool. The skins will now easily peel off. This makes the pepper far more palatable to have in a salad, and removes the 'bulk', making a whole pepper seem less daunting!
Late watching as just back from Inverness. I love potato waffles with an Egg on top! Love how you have all the space now and a tv to watch. Take care Carol and Ken.
I so love the names you call Carol. My late husband never called me by name. The last name he called me was Mac Duff. He said he liked my name, Donna, but felt the nick names he called me were more intimate. I didn't mind at all. When we were first married, he called me Shapiro!
That van has really made you guys so happy. Didn't even really natter about the weather u can still relax. What a way to end the video with some yummy cookies. Thanks for sharing guys.
If you cut your red pepper (or any other colour) when it's fresh and put it in the freezer, you can just take out what you need and the rest will stay good. It does help to lay them out on a flat surface to freeze, then pop them in a Zip-Lock bag. Onions and tomatoes can also be frozen, cut up or whole. Ooh, now I'm craving cookies. :) Jon in rural BC, Canada
Bridge house was built like that to avoid tax! 2 rooms only & once housed a family with 6 children! The most photographed house in the L District. It's beautiful, the views from inside are great. Yes I've been in there & have a fantastic moderate home of it!
Each....half an advocado mash. Red or green chilli. Up to you how much. Crushed pine nuts (use what you have. Pepper n salt.n squeeze of lemon..mix. Drizzle top with balsamic vinegar. Can be used for breakfast on toast. Enjoy.
Hello you two, for a moment I couldn't figure out if it's spring yet, but hey, it's England. You can have a 'fireplace' on your telly (saw it in a hotel once) and warm your hands with a nice cup of tea and warm cookies.
It is lovely seeing you spending time in the van and looking so contented. How cool to be able to bake cookies in the van. And thank you for sharing the link to the murmuration video. Really very kind of you…again❤
We done exactly what you guys did. Kendal Cricket club, then onto Castlerigg Farm. We also parked down by the toilet block but couldn't get level (sure its a 15% incline those pitches 😅) so we also had to move 😅 great to see you guys really settled into Snoopy now 😊
Well hello Ken & Carol, you have a new van wow its beautiful and looks so toasty and warm 😊,so sorry I've not been watching ,so much time spent looking after my rosie I don't get much free time anymore, well you both look well and relaxed 😊good to see you both out enjoying life x
Another great Vlog. The Lakes wouldn't be right without a bit of rough weather. However, when it's nice its glorious. I find it unbelievable that some pedestrians fail to use a crossing correctly. The dog walker at (2:31) was 2 or 3 yards away from a light controlled crossing, yet chose to attempt crossing off the kerb 🤨
Nice video. We used to frequent Castlerigg Farm & Castlerigg Hall. Both closed their cafe's during 'covid' & neither opened back up (to this day). The Hayloft was a great place to eat & saved cooking in the van. Both are sloping sites, so we stopped going altogether. Shame.
It’s good to see you enjoying the comforts of your new van. Couldn’t recognise the site then realised we stopped at Castle Rig Hall . Our favourite place was the caravan and camping club site on the shaws of Derwentwater. Keswick is our special place. Enjoy Brysons, Booths, the theatre by the lake, the Dog and Gun and the Skiddaw. Thank you for bringing back some special memories.
We have both internal suction cup window blinds and an external thermal blind. We have found that the weather dictates which we use. Obviously the exterior external blind massively reduces condensation by transferring the temp change point to outside the windows but they can cause damage to exterior paint, especially in gritty or sandy conditions at coast locations, when grit particles get blown underneath the blind, with higher winds, turning the exterior thermal blind into an emery block. In this case condensation is preferable using the internal blinds.
This is my all time favourite campsite. I visit normally twice a year. Up until a couple of years ago I was in a tent but now in a microcamper. However I was due to visit in March and arrived in Keswick just as it was getting dark with horizontal snow so chickened out and stayed in a local Premier Inn!!
Ken, you smile a lot more in the new van, suits you ,must be the new size, .When we arrive at a new site, our first stop is the fresh water location ,great video
Just a suggestion about the rattles from the oven. I use oven shelf guards on the sides of the shelves which stops these rattling and don’t need to be removed to use the oven. That just leaves the grill pan etc which I put in a Jiffy bag so it’s quick to remove before lighting the oven
Always nice to share the time with your videos. That van really looks comfy. Nice to know that it's creature warm during cold wet weather. The perfect combination of temperatures.
Lovely episode, that’s one of the reasons I like campsites, is to watch all the comings & goings 😊 Especially those putting up awnings 😂😇 You we’re only an hour away from us when you were at Kendal, give us a shout next time & we will pop by 😎 Tell Carol I liked her jumper, it suits her ☺️ Seems you’re loving Snoop Van 🚐 Re the the merino wool top shrinking, any shrinkable items, I hang in the shower room, I am guessing you have a heating vent in there? Keep the door closed, with the vents on & you will be surprised at how quickly it dries. Its one of the perks of the bigger van. Em & G 💜
Yes we have a heating vent in the shower 👍. Never realised we were that close so will shout next time. Watching others is the only thing I miss when wild camping 😁👍
Yet another great video. Just seen u power cord is very long for the van which is handy for the obvious reasons but the problem is it has to be stretched out with out any coiling as the coil will heat up and harden the cable or worst case it can catch fire.
Stayed on that site in 1972. Had a good day out and got back to find a gale going on. Our small frame tent still standing but most other tents flattened and peoples belongings blowing away. We had to do a hasty pack and get the frame down without removing any pegs before bundling the canvas in the car!!
I’ve stumbled across your channel and its brilliant we have a caravan and love new arrivals we spend 2 hours watching someone reverse their motorhome onto a pitch in the mud.. it was delightful we had snacks and everything and far better than anything on the tv

You really look comfortable. That van has changed your life.
I love it when the older ones do vanlife. No over the top booty shots just pure experience
You wouldn’t want to see my booty 😁👍
Except when the towel slips when coming out if the shower block!😱😵💫😂😂😂🙋🙏

Hi Trish. So sorry for the loss of your dog. That always hits hard. Glad we made you smile and thanks for the sub ❤️
Nothing more British than a wet day in the Lake District !
Love the humour ... adding sausages to the vegan soup. My kind of people!
Love this!! Can’t beat a bit of people watching on a campsite 😂
Hope the weather improves soon. Think we are all fed up now with all the wind and rain
They are forecasting 18° in the south tomorrow 😎🤞

That’s a great van.I would buy the same.
Ken your sense of humour will get you into trouble in that little van of yours😂😂.
Great to see you both getting so much use out of your new van.
Thanks 👍
You guys are living my dream. Enjoy
“12 hours later they finally stopped talking “ 😂 that’s what sisters do!
GREETINGS from the USA...Just came upon you two!!...what a delightful couple you are!!!...love your home!...
WELL DONE!!!...
SAFE TRAVELS TO YOU BOTH!
Hi Matthew. Big hello to the USA 👍
I like watching you guys just chill in the "Airbnb on wheels" munching out. It's so relaxing for me. Keep them coming :D
Glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for watching 🙂
I just love the drives through little towns. It’s so beautiful.
Best part of the day when you have a motorhome is watching new arrivals with a caravan putting up their awning! We used to have bets how long the couples would be civil to each other!!😂😂😂
Like watching a motorhome trying to park in the local town, finding all the parking has height restrictions.

Lovely seeing the Lake District (even in the rain)!
