My personal Opinion. The reason this happened is because the USA does not respect or understand the passion and power of FOOTBALL everywhere else in the world. Men have been killed because of losing in this sport. Until the US recognizes the magnitude of this sport and its effect on entire countries it will never be successful. Quit treating it like a secondary alternative hobby and recognize it for the prominent sport that it is. STOP FOCUSING ON THE FINANCIAL GAINS INSTEAD FOCUS ON THE INFLUENCE AND POWER OF THE GAME. THIS GAME IS GLOBAL AND POWERFUL RESPECT IT.. To further illustrate my point how many times have you seen NFL, NBA or MLB players cry after a game compared to the emotional outburts in Football, look at Messi's reaction after he got injured... That is from the heart and the soul.
About crying after a game, then-Cleveland Indians pitcher Julian Tavarez in his team's dugout after his team lost the 1995 World Series to the Atlanta Braves.
@@arq3474I didn't watch it because I was forced to watch it smh...I watched it because my family likes soccer....I was hoping for a good game but it was trash....neither team could score or generate scoring opportunities.

@@arq3474 I've seen a Barcelona vs. Madrid game that was extremely boring...unless you like defense, of course...no matter how great they were offensively their defense canceled both of them out...I don't hate soccer, actually, and I've watched games that were actually fun and entertaining...but you just never know what you're going to get half the time...there's been a lot of games I've been hyped up to see only to be let down.
