Loving my s9+. It's the last phone that had the best bass, expandable memory, and a high resolution screen. I'm curious what the sound on s23+ is compared to my s9+.
@@frickysuavve2471. The performance is from another planet, i had never seen a phone that fast. 2. I personally don't need the headphone jack because I own the galaxybuds, but if I do, I have a USBC adapter. 3. my s23+ has 265GB and 100GB cloud storage, which is more than enough for me. 4. the only thing i was worried about was the FHD+ resolution since the s9 had 1440p but you don't notice any difference at all, i would even say the s23 display looks sharper.
Very simple, one is a flagship (S9 Plus) The other one is a pay more for less scam (S23 Plus) Best proof of how Samsung started giving us less for more after the S9 series hence why I don't buy Samsung devices since my beloved S9 Plus.
I think at this point, nobody is really interested in purchasing a s9+. I think most of the people who came here were looking for reasons to either keep or ditch their s9+ for an s23/plus/or ultra. I think if the review was much more geared towards that perspective, it would have been a lot more informative/helpful for folks. I remember having the option to switch from my 9+ to a 22 and I ended up going back to my 9 because the battery could withstand being in Discord calls much better than the 22 could. Even when the s22 was charging, it got unreasonably hot and the battery would still deplete. I had to return the 22. If anyone knows how the 23 handles video calls, do let me know! Please speak from experience and not assumption, thank you!
@@TomiPapzThat's great to hear. I have a S9+ and I love it, but the battery isn't lasting anywhere near how it did before. I have to put it on the charger several times per day. So I ordered a S23+ today. Glad to hear you're loving the new phone!
I'm getting offers from Verizon to upgrade. I love my S9+. The camera is great, the sound is great, I like the curved glass front and the cover available to protect is awesome. I use earphones. Knowing that it's time is passing what exactly am I giving up on sound quality, earphones etc...? Thanks so much.
These comparisons are funny. My aunt has a Note 8 and it's running fine for her. She's not a big phone person. I'll fully clear it and make it "new" again every now and then.
So I'm thinking about replacing my galaxy a32 5g as it's camera is bad, it's gaming performance is bad, the processor is terrible at a mediatek demensity 700 and it's just terrible in general. I was thinking either to get a s21,s21 fe, pixel 6a,6,iphone 12 mini or iphone se 3. Which has better gaming, camera and processor performance. As I'm just looking for something better
I had a note 8 and 10 days ago i change to the s20 FE but i realy lo e more the note 8 it has headphone jack it feels premium and i realy like the purple cristal color i realy want to samsung to update this models of phones like s8 s8+ s9 s9+ cause those are phones that looks so modern and with software update will make live thos smartphones again
My S9+ had its last software update in April 2022 before being left behind for 5G. So, technically, not many many years... Either way, that's how it goes, though.
Ok, so I moved the data from one to the other. And I see a difference in the quality of images. S9+ is more vivid type and S23+ is like pale or not dark anymore in the tone of the skin comparing the same pic in both devices, like a saturation thing going on. Anyone found that?
Thank you I have the S9+ & I love it but I have been fighting with videos popping up. Took it to a Verizon store yesterday & they couldn’t figure out the problem either. I’ve been reading up on the S23+ and plan to get it probably tomorrow.
U probably installed some bullshit apk from the web and now ads pop up. It's obvious when installing a sketchy app. Usually the apk has a random icon and a weird name witch is not the apk u probably looking for. Idk how could u fall in such trap. Or u got a used phone with custom rom or smth If none of these things happen make a factory reset to your phone
Still love my S9+ but noticing pages don't always align well for reading things. Having to turn to landscape a lot to see everything. My S9+ was last updated by Samsung in May 2022 so it hasn't been years and years without support. Think I will hold out for the S24+...or maybe switch to the dark side with an IPhone 15 if they get battery heat issues resolved.
My S9+ is maybe 5 years old... it performs perfectly and battery life is still great because I know how to keep the battery healthy. However ... T M-mobile will give me an S23+ for $600.00 Do I wait for the S24+ ???
Speed tests are useless these days to tell apart which one is faster, it comes down to when it's limits is being pushed, and the s23 plus is by far better
Not a single valid reason to upgrade. It's cheaper to repair any kind of degradation due to time than buying a new phone. With the price it costs to change out degraded parts like the oled screen, the battery and the charging port, you get basically a new chassis along with those parts since it's one piece and it's basically brand new while any current phone in that price point will not perform as good as the s9+ so if anyone has this phone and needs to get a new one due to damage, just repair this one.
Lol if an application only needs 800mhz to run... doesn't matter how much you have behind it... a 1.2ghz and a 2.4ghz will load that 800mhz app at the same time. So that's a terrible comparison lol... figure out heavy hitters before you make a video.
This "test" couldn't be depicted any better in contrast to a big hot steamy load of garbage. S9+ is full of apps vs the s23 having minimal and almost all the app comparisons are botched to hell.... one isn't signed in, camera settings are diff, temple run needs allowance, pop-ups on snake yet again....Netflix diff pop-ups yet agaaaiiiiiiinnnnnn.... stopped watching here. How much more inaccurate can this comparison possibly be? Jesus Christ the shockingly obvious absence of all basic intelligence is overwhelmingly painfu.😟😓😭🤯😟🙄🚮🚮🚮📲➡️🗑📲➡️🗑📲➡️🗑📲➡️🗑📲➡️🗑📲➡️🗑

Better in terms of pixel density, but worse in terms of Hz...
