The fact that they've all been able to remain committed to this company, and continue so well to work together as a team over the years is such an achievement.
Is it tho? I mean ofc they have probably had some sort of " okey, he has too much thoughts about this or that" But they are many people, they have hired people to do most of the hard choices for them, they get to work with friends and family, bringing fortune to most around you and people are just happy to be apart of what you do. I worked in a friends/family business where the owners and employees were just normal nice people, had the time of my life and was sad to hear when they wanted to sell the place ( was an offer they couldnt refuse tbh) I would be more surprised if media personalities actually fucked up their business, sure we hare stories when it happens, but we only hear noice and complaints, not sunshine stories that keep on livin you know.
where ty mentions how the younger audience grows older and they go off to high school or college and turn to barstool, id say that me and my friends are different. im now in college, i grew up consuming dp vids and loved what the boys did and to this day ive continued to watch their vids and feel the same joy i did when i was a little boy. the same goes with my friends, we all find dp vids super entertaining and love whenever a new vid drops.
It usually depends on how childish their content has gotten. Their gaming one is a little too childish, especially their little skits with made up characters. Sometimes it’s funny, but too much is not funny.
As a college student I can confidently say I have not moved on from dude perfect, the trifecta for the best possible Saturday is a DP Video, Mark Rober Video, and a Florida Gator win, this is one viewer neither of them will lose any time soon
it always surpises me how i can watch these 1.5 hour long podcast episodes and be focused and interested the entire time but I can barely make it through a new movie. idk how you do it boys
This is one of the best interviews I’ve seen in a long time. Well thought out questions, good rapport with the guys to get them to answer honestly, and some lighthearted moments
As CEO, I would focus on three things, 1. DP app. Growing and building it as a safe alternative almost a small competitor to UA-cam kids. 2. DP merch. Kids want this stuff and it’s an easy gift for aunts and uncles to get. 3. love the Dude Perfect traveling experience.
I am 66 years old and love these guys. Followed them from early on. Can't wait for the vids to be released. Great interview. I would LOVE to see a DUDE PERFECT BIBLE!
I am just coming to UA-cam from another platform, and I love the energy on here - with Colin & Samir being the one consistent channel that makes me feel like I am becoming part of a great feelgood community ❤
I think its really cool how Cobey is like a beating heart for the group, like tye is obviously probably the dude who you think of when you think of dude perfect, but Cobey is just as important
Dude perfect started for me when I was in high school, here I am in my 30s and still enjoy watching your content. I personally am grateful you are still working with it and didn’t step out. The thing though is I was showing your newest overtime video with Steph to my wife who teaches 6th grade and just her mentioning how much her students love and look up to you guys. Heck Tyler is in the schools booster video. Just nice to see some wholesome individuals for them to look up to and inspire rather than these trash influences you see on other platforms
i always find it odd that they dude perfect don't do more interviews as it always seems like they have something to share. regardless, it's always great to hear from dp no matter the medium.
When I see “billion” or “$100m” in a title it’s usually an instant skip for me because it’s so corny to see interview shows use those numbers to inflate the significance of the guest. . But not with dude perfect. They’ve been doing it since before channels were monetizable. Them, Mark Rober, and GMM are the only UA-cam empires I take as serious players. I’m really excited to watch this one.
You need a soccer guy, soccer trumps all, even golf, youth numbers of soccer over golf, no brainer. We love you guys, stay strong in the faith and thank you for all you do
I think Dude Perfect may be the most recognizable brand to come from UA-cam. At least one that is still growing to this day. Amazing that they essentially spawned a $100 million+ business from making some videos doing trick shots
100% would build the Dude Perfect World. Make it a destination and it becomes no longer a UA-cam channel I watch, but a place I've physically been and connect with on a deeper level. Besides I'm sure the demand for that sort of thing would be off the charts.
I would hammer the other channels starting with golf. It is something they are all the most passionate about so it would be an easier add than the others. I also really like the traveling show idea, great way to connect with the audience and create a new version of outdoors entertainment. Similar to a local go kart/arcade place. Great questions Colin and Samir!!
Loved this interview. I am part of a family who watches Dude Perfect on the regular. I’m 38 with a 9 yr old and 7 yr old. We watch all the videos. Love that they’re safe for my kids and entertaining for me as well👍👍👍👍👍👍
Great interview Colin and Samir. As CEO, I'd prioritise what DP is most excited to work on that would also bring in revenue. The guys have big dreams and need a lot of capital to realise them. DP rocks!!
It’s truly interesting the paths Dude Perfect had gone down, and honestly I’m pretty unsure of how the change from “some dudes doing cool stuff” to more of a brand that makes a variety of content is going to go!
If its not in the works yet, I hope it is soon. Dude perfect should invite all trick shot channels for an ultimate trick shot competition. My money is on That's Amazing. Those kids are unreal.
I think Samir was onto something with establishing an animated series to keep the brand going without necessarily needing the human characters. I think of the Kratt Brothers type of animation but with Dude Perfect challenges
Good Good into Dude Perfect, you guys are on a heater right now! 🔥 Would love to see an interview with Slipz (iShowSpeed's cameraman/producer) and hear about the logistics behind his IRL livestreaming. I hear he essentially crafted his own rig so connection can be as stable as possible even in third world countries.
Hoping for the best for the Dudes and the mission. My kids and their friends are aging out 😢 However they still go back and watch their favs and stream the inspirational music from them. All sports golf channel 😊 Inspiration music channel 😊 Stereotypes ❤ Battles ❤❤ As you scale avoid the quick money grabs like the books and gimmicks. Stay true to music, inspiring content and building each other up. Their best videos give as much hope as entertainment. ❤
I remember watching the first dude perfect video in 2009. I have always watched there stuff. I got my wife to watch overtime when it came out and now we watch that together and the stuff they have done like Clue. And now we have a 4 year old and 1 year old and started watching with my 4 year old this year. There model is already set up to succeed. I am looking forward to where Dude Perfect takes things.
as a 20 year old man who has grown up watching them I cant wait for the future of dp. even tho i may not agree with them in certain aspects of day to day life i still respect them and will always support the channel
Love the insights in this episode. Love the breakdowns and sides you don't normally see from these creators. Would love more episodes into Creator Companies like this (LTT, Critical Role, Philip DeFranco, Yes Theory, etc.)
My youngest brother is 14 years younger than me. He was prime DP target age during the first tour and I was out of college. I took him to the tour in Houston and we had so much fun! To your point yes your content reaches many ages and your channel was one of the few my entire family would watch together.
The way these guys are so fothcoming with their faith is so cool to see. I used to watch DP in Middleschool, I should intriduce my 3 year old to them soon. These guys are Legends
I’m the exact person you’re talking about. I’ve loved dude perfect for years and now me and my 4 year old daughter watch every video when it comes out. She always asks for “the funny guys”
Its amazing that they are talking about passing their legacy down to their kids. The next generation of UA-cam will be the children of all of these retired youtubers we all grew up with. And soon there will be our kids watching the new generation of youtubers. UA-cam will live long and so will legacies.
I would love to see Dude Perfect start bringing in more sports from around the world. Seeing these guy try sports like Hurling and then building trick shots off of them would be really amazing. I loved seeing them try Rugby with the Australia Bucket list!
Would love to see you guys get Max Chewning on the show. He's the founder of the candy Sour Strips which he recently sold to Hershey. He also has been making UA-cam videos for 11 years. Think he would make for a great episode with a ton of value.
My son (15) and I (39) watch a few channels together. We watch DP, Cleetus, Roman, Deestroying, the Deegans and Demo Matt. I love our YT time together.
Collabs I think will be what is needed when branching off to these other channels, they need to get entered into which ever space they are trying to go into. Golf for example, sure there are some people that are both golf and DP fans but for them to have a sustaining channel they need to pull people from the golf space that isn't already in the DP space. With that being said, a Good Good Golf and DP collab could not be drawn up better and is NEEDED. Live in the same city, have the same values, built a brand around a group of guys, it's perfect.
Been watching you guys since the lacrosse days. lacrosse network all that stuff. nice to see you guys still kicking it!! and u all exploded which is cool nice job
I don’t think DP would be where it is today if the team wasn’t as involved. They skipped the hr fluff hires and went with character hire. That’s why they are on the way to a billion today! Well done guys! It’s motivating to see how far you can go without having to hire and how much it actually benefits the team. Imagine hiring someone with opposing values, they would destroy the team. Well done guys!
I’m late 30’s and have followed DP since inception. If I was CEO of Dude Perfect, my ruthless priorities would be: DP Kids Animation Show, Girl Great/Girl Perfect channel, and Fan Perfect.
The fact that they've all been able to remain committed to this company, and continue so well to work together as a team over the years is such an achievement.
They have faith, value and deep rooted principles that are much deeper than most see publicly.
so true!

Coby is a really good speaker and really was able to speak for the DP team but still remain humble about their journey and progression. Well done🎊
For all the crap that Coby has to take for not winning battles and such he seems like he a a big part of the “brains” behind the company.
He makes good points but definitely rambles.
I'm really glad they didn't choose to sell the whole thing. We already lost MatPat, It'd be sad to lose them as well.
Seems like you're everywhere bro 😅
Matpat sucks
Sorry he doesnt suck but his content is ass
we didnt lose matpat bc he sold the channel tho, he wanted to step out of it and selling the channel enabled him to do it without stopping the content

Very much agree!
Same with me!
Absolutely. Im grown, out of school and married. Still watch all the videos as soon as they drop
same here
It usually depends on how childish their content has gotten. Their gaming one is a little too childish, especially their little skits with made up characters. Sometimes it’s funny, but too much is not funny.
Love Dude Perfect. Met them in Brazil 2014 for the world cup and they were nothing but genuinely nice, great guys.
I do videos like dude perfect doing trick shots!
A dude perfect/ good good collab would 10000% kickstart dude perfect’s golf channel.
Id pay so much to see that
That will def happen. I’m sure it’s in the works
The Dude Perfect interview finally🔥😆 was well worth the wait
If you like dude perfect I make videos like them doing trick shots
@@amazingflips-hm4ly shouldn't use other videos' comment sections to advertise your own channel, bud🫠

Coby is like the spokesperson for dudeperfect
Yeah! I hadn't realised this. He did a top job!! He was always my favourite though
He rambles a lot.

i feel like you are specifically making these for me at this point lol SUCH INCREDIBLE CONTEXT thanks
watching this right now on a red eye to London and I'm glued to my screen, as per usual. AWesome work guys!
I am 66 years old and love these guys. Followed them from early on. Can't wait for the vids to be released. Great interview. I would LOVE to see a DUDE PERFECT BIBLE!

I have a 17 year old and a 5 year old, we all watch the Dude Perfect app. The spread was reasonable. 😊 1:00:31
DP Golf would become the biggest golf channel almost overnight
Our 2 fav channels colliding!! Really great interview guys.
