I started playing this way back when it first entered Early Access and have put in more than 3.4K hours into it. I love how once you get bored of the main quest line you can download others like Reforged Eden and Star Salvage (one of my favorites) and many others. You can also upload your favorite ship/base designs for other players to download and use, very few games let you do that. There are also some very fun Multi-play severs to have fun on with a great community of plays.
I agree. As a single player game its great, but when you add the community, workshops, and multiplayer servers you have something special. For me, it then becomes matter of finding time to play, and I think that my CV sized SV still has a few more hours of building to complete.
I absolutely adore this game. Only just discovered it via the Epic promo and I can't put it down. Amazing what people have made in game and the freedom you've got. The visuals are stunning as well, I often just stop to watch the sun rise. Kind of game that keeps you discovering new stuff for aaaaaages - that is invaluably rare these days! Some of the animations etc. are a bit jank but I can easily forgive that for the depth that's included
Hi Glenben92, Im with you. I think with just a little animation correction and a a little polish this could be seen as a AAA game, because it packs so much in as it is and its always seems to come back better with each update. Thanks Eleon Game Studios
I remember this game fondly. I played it a lot during early access. When No Man's Sky first came out, this game was superior to it in every way. This game was truly ahead of its time. I am not aware of any other game that lets you hunt game with ship-mounted gatling guns and then cook it up into a steak. I remember accidentally crashing my space box truck on the opposite end of the planet and having to make the walk of shame back to my base, fighting wild animal aliens the entire way. Good times.
Hi Scotts-tech, Yep, I pick this up a while ago and it keeps getting better with each update like 7DTD. I do like your channel because I have a fondness for the Z80 and 68000 processors because I started many years ago in the IT industry with hardware component repairs, after Dick smith and Tandy kits
I have 4000+ hours in this great game, 90% of which has been using the Reforged Eden scenario (mod). My next playthrough will be under Reforged Eden 2. I don't think I could ever go back to vanilla as RE adds so much to the game. Good video BTW.
