Office apps like Word, Excel or PowerPoint supports this feature and it will adapt the new 3D look instead of using the old 2D look. This is just for anyone who wants to know where these new fluent emojis will appear.
I like the copilot feature, cool idea just being able to pull up a quick AI chat window to quick get your answer instead of having to spin up your web browser.
Unpopular opinion, but i want to merge that widgets pane on my start menu. Like if i press the start, there's a pane for the pinned apps, a pane for recents, a pane for widgets and a pane for discover (news, etc) And these panes are not forced, but there's a way to turn them on and off so if i actially don't want to see the recents or news, i can just hide them.

Something i don't like in Windows is that the font of file explorer is smaller than other system settings. Yes, i changed the scale, but the fonts are different sizes.
I just updated as update came in but the Paint is still the old version 11.2304.33.0 which doesn't have Background Removal and layers / photo app also the same as old not background blur option. AND in text extraction not showing in snipping tool. nothing new, but the clopilet / back up and another option available in the pc,. this has happened to many ppl not only me !!
The new Explorer has been buggy concerning the handing of thumbnails... I had to reset the thumbnail cache 4 or 5 times to get the icons to display correctly. Also the Photo Gallery is buggy... probably caused by the issues with thumbnail not being displayed correctly at times.
@@tusharsnn I've had issues with the user account desktop icon changing its size and becoming a black box. I've also had issues with .MOV files having green pixelization on the thumbnail. The file is fine and this problem seems to be Moment 4 related... probably how explorer.exe is handling thumbnails. Clearing the thumbnail cache seems to fix the desktop icon issue, the green pixelization is definitely an explorer.exe issue. Move the image inside of OneDrive and a new thumbnail is generated correctly and the green pixelization goes away.

also now that it’s using the new “tabs” you can’t drag files in the file path. it is now extremely annoying to pull a file from a sub folder to the folder that the sub folder. (basically no file dragging in the file path)
I installed the 23H2 release preview version and immediately unenrolled so that I can get back on the regular update cycle from the next official public release. Do you know when will Microsoft rollout the public version of 23H2? I am in the US and I use a Microsoft Surface Pro 9 laptop. Appreciate your help

Okay, so I'm on the Canary Channel and since it updated a few days ago, I don't have the Copilot Icon anymore and it's not in the settings. WIndows updated to 23h3 is it because of that. I liked this new copilot so Having it back could be great
here is idea..multiple icon delete..its where you have a folder delete all the icons and softwear all at once which dont use and want.. and no its not called the recycling bin where you put them in there and you can restore them later on... and once they are in there and you deleted them all and they al gone for good and dont come back untill to download it and instead of deleting them one by one..just move the icon in to folder and all get deleted in on go.. when you agree to it.. and that way it saves a hard drive space... another one when you hard drive like say 2tb drive make it 2tb and not have 200gb or wasted hard drive where you cannot use it.. .. you might was call it 1.8td drive and not a 2td drive
For some reason, the secondary desktops switching animation doesn't work for me, and switching by pressing Win+Tab and clicking it doesn't work at all.

I'll be looking to get some third party software like the star dock people to revert some of the forced changes like the task manager window, because when windows itself isn't respond, neither does my task manager. This is the same reason why I didn't like the tablet layout/format of win8, it slowed my PC down and was counter intuitive to productivity. rip win7.
This update is terrible, my search bar icon has a visual bug (half of it is missing), the new file explorer is horrible, it's buggy, unresponsive... and the new address bar also has the same sh*t. When i open "This PC", it takes like 2 second for the animation to fully end. DO NOT UPDATE NOW until they fix their sh*tty bugs.
I have 2 laptops and trying update to windows 11 moment 4, but 1 from 2 my laptops doesn't have some a new feature, new taskbar feature (new sound mixer, never combinated, and new notificatiom icon) and new file explorer doesn't appear and still get old style pre-moment 4 update
The copilot cannot do anything. For example I used the prompt: "Open file explorer". "I'm sorry, but I cannot open explorer for you. I am a chat mode of Microsoft Bing, not an assistant." it said.
i updated to latest version on my home pc win11 enterpise with local account and i dont have some features i dont know why. i dont see new copilot app and also in settings there is no recomended section etc. i dont know what happend. i performed same update at work later on in my company where i working and i got all these features.
While I appreciate all these new features, I really want MS to fix the animations lag on W11. It's unbearable. I have a power PC with an i7 and an Nvidia GPU, and the system animations still lag so bad. Don't tell me to turn them off and turn off transparent effect, I like that stuff. It looks clean. Had to go back to W10 Edit: and the fact that I still can't move the taskbar to the top is a major deal breaker
The Windows Copilot doesn't have any dark mode settings I know it's in the preview version but why no dark mode yet oh and by the way I did get the update for the Widows Copilot but it's a bit buggy somehow it didn't load correctly but refreshing it worked
In my windows 11 laptop I am have issue with my ethernet adapter. It continously disconnecting. My laptop does not have ethernet port so I use type c to rj45 adapter. But I have driver issue, what I do?

that's the original "testing" version which in some versions of windows has not been updated to the "production" version

Explorer patcher resolves that but it will most likely break with some windows updates and you'll have to wait for them to fix it again...
