@@esmas8423 I have to agree. It’s so refreshing and nice to have someone get straight to the point. I hate that when they just go on and on and on in the beginning. 🙄
If you don't mind responding late, how much shampoo do you add? Also, what brand? I'm probably over thinking this but I'm going crazy trying to get my husband's t shirts white again!
I am really impressed with how spotless your living environment is. I am renovating a Victorian ruin and it will be a year before this house is anywhere close. 💜
Thank you for another very useful post. I love your videos because I pick up some great info on cleaning. Tried the tub cleaner with baking powder and vinegar... awesome. Smooth and clean. I'm going to clean my white quilt just like you did, including the lemon.
Hack for a large bucket. I always have plastic drop cloth handy. Just line a laundry basket with the drop cloth and you have yourself a decent XL bucket for soaking 😂
I was just trying to whitening my daughters shirt with some bleach and some spots got yellow, ohh my!, i freak!, i try your whitening recipe, a resurrection of a shirt just happens!!!, yes!, not even 15min. Was perfect!, thank you so much!
Need this! Been thinking of what to do with my white linens thats turning yellow. I'll try to use rhis to my whote towels aswell. Thank you so much for sharing.
Great video thanks for the tip. I have a question I haven’t been able to find any answer for.. I have a jacket that’s almost new and hasn’t been worn out but I want to turn its color from “off white” to snow/ pure white, will this work? Because it’s not a stain or dirt it’s a natural color I really hope it does...
I have a random question :) I saw you have a silk or a satin pillow case and I'm thinking about getting that as well... but I was wondering, do you see a difference in your hair? I have wavy hair and they tend to get frizzy on a cotton pillowcase. Thanks!
Great methods with the exception of one thing. You mixed the vinegar & baking soda too early. When vinegar and baking soda are mixed, they undergo an immediate chemical reaction that produces water, carbon dioxide, and sodium acetate, a salt. The clothes need to be in the water & vinegar first then the baking soda added after to get more of the benefits of the products. Otherwise it's wasted
Imma try this because I messed up my roommate's shirt when I accidentally drop his white (cow-like) sweater that it turned grey. I will reply here if it works the miracle I need.
its SO NICE that you go straight into the video
Yea I honestly hate intros, my talking videos I try my best to only do 30 seconds of a quick intro.

Baking soda+vinegar+little bit of shampoo is my favorite concoction lol it’s the best for taking out sweat stains from whites!

Great Idea. I should try this.
Does the shampoo have to be white?
Will it take stains out from colors???

I'm so exited that I discovered this non toxic method. You're the best xoxo
deffinetly u can use your tub for quilts, coats, sweaters etc...great tip, thanks.
Girl did you realize you went from 30 k to 50k subscribers in like two weeks ?!
I honestly was shocked 😲 when I seen the numbers going up every morning. I was like “what no way!!” I will be forever grateful for you guys💕
Kyra Ann you deserve it!!
Thank you for this video! As a mom of 2 i have been researching how to clean white sheets without bleach, new subbie❤️
You could use a 'duvet cover' like we do in the UK. Your comforter won't need cleaning do much and it's much easier to clean a thin cotton cover.
I’m in the US and most people I know also use a duvet cover! I think it’s just preference ☺️
Such a cool method! Thank you for posting. Sometimes the simplest ingredients are the best!

It’s amazing how good baking soda works for a lot of things. I love it. I use it for my teeth too.
Ugh not first but almost 🥰 so happy you posted again
I m going to put the solution in my washer on the soaking setting. Curious if it works as i have a dog and my sheets sometimes have paw marks :))
Did it work?
Can I use this technique to remove make up stains from White shirt collars? Great vid
Love just get make up remover from the dollar store and pour it on their

Why didn’t you just use the bathtub??
Uses a lot of water for no reason. That’s why I only take showers because I hate wasting water.
How do I do this in the washing machine. Where do I put the baking soda?? If I do this with my white clothes do you still use detergent?? Thank you !
Great video as always Kyra👏👏 I also use those ingredients, no harsh chemicals and more economical.
I can’t wait to try it! I have to wait till I go home
Great tip Kyra. Where did you buy your comforter?
I was about to ask the same question?!
Target in the dorm room section 👍🏼
Get a duvet cover. It looks like what we call a duvet in the uk so just wash the cover not the actual duvet/comforter
What detergent do you use for your clothes.
Esther Ventura she had previously said that she uses cvs brand pods that are chemical free I believe
Does this work on white t-shirts? Or is OxiClean better for those?
Vinegar is great for set in stains as well
Need this! Been thinking of what to do with my white linens thats turning yellow. I'll try to use rhis to my whote towels aswell. Thank you so much for sharing.
Where did you get this concoction from??
I have a question: can i wash my whites this way and mix it with my other clothes in the dryer? or would that not work?
Love the quick adulting hacks!
I’ve been searching hi and low to clean my whites thanks for the tips! New subbie here 💃🏼
Do you do this with your clothes as well? I hate using bleach because the scent makes me feel sick
it defo works with clothes i have been using the same method for years works great
Do u use all three the baking soda, vinegar, and lemon juice? Do u soak it or just throw it in the washing machine?
Dark Child i throw it in the washing machine with the baking soda and the vinegar
Does this work if the cloth is white and black?

And will this apply to t shirts with black print on front?
Would this work with on something with prints on it?
Did I miss or you did not use detergent? It is awesome but need a confirmation please. Thanks.
I used detergent once it was done soaking in that vinegar mixture.

I find it definitely helps. Also I'm sewing some satin scrunchies because I tried one and it helped with breakage quite a bit
@@JB-vd8bi Oh nice! thanks for the information! :D
You can fill ur bath tub n soak d comforter in it
Definitely would be a whole lot easier...
can i use baking powder
42 minutes on low? Do you mean cool air or do you use heat to dry it?
I’m unsure since at the laundry Matt it only saids low 🤷🏻♀️ I believe cool air because my clothes aren’t hot when they come out
Kyra Ann , thankyou so much

Peroxide helps whiten clothes and get stains out too
Good to know,I’ll have to try that out next thank you
Will peroxide, baking soda and vinegar also whiten whites and get the stains out???
Where did you purchase your comforter from?? It looks super comfy!!
Target 😁 in the college section. They are super comfy and heavy duty
Tub so white I had to wear sunglasses to watch this video. 😁😎
I need to try this!
Why did you not use the bath tub?
It wastes a lot of water
Awesome! I'm gonna do this! 👏
Imma try this because I messed up my roommate's shirt when I accidentally drop his white (cow-like) sweater that it turned grey. I will reply here if it works the miracle I need.
Did it work ? I need to use it on two very particular T shirts :)
Kyra where are you at in Boston I need a cheap city to live in help
