Oh, my God, you are the goddess! Not only are my white towels, white again. But, I had this purple stain on the bottom of my shower floor and I have been trying for the past year to get it to come out. It was from that purple shampoo that I use for my hair. It’s seriously like a dye. I have tried bleaching and scrubbing and comet and everything. I put this mixture that you suggested on top of the stain and let it sit overnight. Now it is white again I can’t believe it! Thank you so much.
I had a horrible monthly menstrual cycle situation back in college and would ALWAYS stain my white uniform. The first time it happened we were in chemistry class and our lab assistant gave me about half a cup of hydrogen peroxide and cotton balls and told me to treat the blood stain on my pants in the bathroom and I did. When I poured the peroxide onto the stain, the stain literally dispersed like when Moses parted the sea! It was like magic!! And then I soaked cotton balls with peroxide and rubbed it into the remaining stain, alternating it with dry cotton balls. Since then I've been a hydrogen peroxide advocate ❤
I've tried every non-industrial strength product and the only thing that ever mostly restored my whites was (spot treat first) then boil in a solution of water+peroxide+borax. This has got some very yellow whites about 90% restored to original, which is the best I've ever achieved.
@@lienbijs1205 yes, absolutely. The cotton can take very high heat. Obviously you don't want to do this if it has embellishments, but simple Terry or other cotton towels can be boiled.
@@davepane7306that how they did laundry way back when. If you ever see an antique really really big oval shaped copper pot, that's what it was used for, and it wasn't just towels. Basically anything that wasn't fine fabric. There are plenty of tutorials here on how to do it.
If I may say I highly recommend just buying Dawn because in addition to this, it has so many excellent household uses. Another laundry tip is if you have a grease stain on any color of clothing apply Dawn to the stain and it will knock it right out it saved my son's school uniforms. My husband also uses it to clean the wheels of our car. Get some sparkling clean. Don also gets makeup out of white cotton items. Nothing else worked not even peroxide.
Thank you so much for the tip. As a default, dawn is the that the only dishwashing liquid that I use, but I had another brand that is commercial grade, I just curious if that would work as well. Thanks again, keep up the great work! @@ursamajor6347

Do you really mean boiling in a pot on the stove? Can I do that with white towels?

Can I use the vinegar and baking soda trick to colored towels?
Do you sell your container labels?
Be careful that you don't use too much of the stain remover (Dawn + hydrogen peroxide) or you will get too much foam in a front loader washer.
Kind of like if you put regular dishwashing liquid into a dishwasher. 😅
can you use on shirt collar soiling?
can we use any dish detergent?
I think dawn is most powerful
Can you use it on colored clothes?
Can you use this stain mixture on grout?
Love the tip, now will any dishwashing liquid do or do you have to specifically use Dawn?

Hey great video : could I use Oxy clean in place of Borax?
It’s not the same thing. But oxy clean and borax work sooooo well together 75% oxy clean ans 25% borax
Can you use vinegar for all clothes?
Yes you can use vinegar instead of fabric softener 😊
If clothes have elastic in them the vinegar will destroy it over time.
Instead of Borox can I use bleach?
Where did you get the peroxide you used? Or can we use any peroxide?
3% peroxide but here is the link :) amzn.to/3xc0Z9H
Is it baking soda or washing soda?
Can you use Oxyclean (powdered hydrogen peroxide) instead of liquid hydrogen peroxide?
Would this method get rid of hair dye stains on towels as well?
Hairdye is terrible chemical stain.
@@Thesewingsuccesschannel I inherited a hair dye stain on my marble vanity. *NOTHING* has ever budged even one iota of it.

How to remove mould from white towels
Your stain remover is it only for white
Dawn can take color out of fabric if you use it straight and use too much. Definitely never let it dry on colors.
i just tried your method. all it did was leave yellow marks and the stains on my white towels.
Why do you recommend NOT to use dryer sheets?
Dryer sheets have chemicals on them that leave residue on your clothes.

Vinegar is great
All excellent tips, but respectfully that is way too much detergent. Less is more on the laundry detergent.

Using baking soda and vinegar will create a chemical reaction. Put both in the drum and not dispensing tray.
