Taking a 'gap year' was definitely the best decision I've made in my life! I saw different parts of our world, met inspiring individuals and learned a language - none of that would have been possible if I had decided to go straight to uni after school. Being granted a Huayu Enrichment scholarship was one of my most grateful moments ever.
You'll never 'waste' your time by going on adventures with yourself. If you have the chance to take a gap year, please don't be scared and DO IT!!! You won't regret it!

I have a little advice, I know it doesn’t matter because u content is amazing 😻 and u will become popular soon but by experience when when u editing the video cat by voice not by photo it will be much better and keep going u are so talented 🌹
Ahh I had to read that twice to get what you mean! I wish I would have known that I was gonna film a video about this at the time I was there, I would have filmed much more obviously... Since I didn't have enough footage, that wasn't an option for me xx Thanks for your kind words though

Honestly, it depends on where you‘re applying… Just do everything you‘re supposed to and get in touch with the people at your country‘s Taiwan office for further tips/information! I hope everything will work out for you

Hi can I ask what scholarships you were eligible for once you were applying for college? I'm just getting out of my three-year gap year and looking to apply to college but a lot of external scholarships are only available for high school seniors or those enrolled in universities

I applied for this Fall at NTNU, hopefully I’ll be selected since Taiwan approved scholarship recipients to enter the country recently.
I was wondering, how much time did you have to do extracurriculars?
Aww good luck! 🤞🏼 If you‘re in intensive, you don‘t have to worry about extracurriculars at all, with regular I think it‘s something ~ 2h a week of extra classes + some library hours!!

Oh I actually want to do extracurriculars lol. I was just thinking about it bc you put that clip of you at a dance practice. I don't know much about Taiwan's culture so I want to get a lot out of it lol
@@MsMvsc That‘s cool, I went to a few good ones! The dancing was at a dance studio though, not an extracurricular activity😆 HRC dance studios
