- I have a Ford Lightning on reserve and I like the way the lighting has a continuous light bar from the right to the left headlight so I decided to make something similar for the Maverick.

Let us know if you decide to make and sell these kits. For my XL and XLT's we would need to light up the eye brow on top of the headlights as ours are not active.

That looks cool. I have thought about body color matching that part of the grill and putting amber marking lights in. Like the higher end Toyota trucks have.

If that's the 2.0 leader Eco boost? Sure is a noisy little engine. I have the 2.5L hybrid and I can't hardly here the gas engine when it's running. That is a great idea thanks keep them ideas coming 👍.
I do not want the light bar to stay on for 20-30 minutes after everything else like the DRL's turn off. Please tell me there's another wire I can splice into that would allow the light to turn off with the other vehicle lights. I have a Lariat Hybrid.
I actually removed this and went with a different light option with a switch, please reach out to whoever you purchased the kit from as I only did this as a personal project and shared it with people.

So the power source you wired it onto only provides power when the lights are on? Or did you put them on a switch?
Only when the car is on and about 20 minutes after and then it cuts power

@@KyleVeatch it’s the 12v line going into the lariat headlight assembly.. on the right headlight the wire color is white

add another row to completely surround the top nubs in the grill and then sell the pre made kit.

It's been a few month since you did this mod, how is the led strip holding up? Any problems with the install? I want to do this mod but am afraid that after a while the LED's won't hold up.
If I find an inexpensive way to light up my XLT I'll add that. That's when I get mine.
Gotta say....nice clean factory looking install! You did great! I'm not usually a fan of after market non standard lighting other than fog lights...but this looks very nice!

Why is one of the headlights flashing in beginning of the video?

Do you think you will add the LED upgrade to the maverick stock lights from halogen? I havent seen anyone do it to a lariat yet.
The stock headlights on the Lariat are LEDs. Not sure about the other trims
When is that white wire hot?
So I built up a set on my lariat Maverick and they don’t turn off?? Was I just to impatient? I wired in my strip just like to you and the truck was locked with all lights on… Any advice? Thanks!!
On the lariat, the power wire that goes to the headlight assembly takes about 20-30 minutes to deactivate. The lights stay on for that long. Same length as if you were to manually turn on the bed lighting.

I just with the tempurature of the bar matched the lights, its about 1k degrees offwhite.
How would it affect other drivers on road ?
Where exactly do you tap on the xlt?
Would this work in a hybrid xlt ?

@@wademiller7769 I just came up with the idea that’s it, you should still reach out to them as I’m not promising anything nor gaining anything from their sales lol but I’ll try to help you either way.. do you have a lariat or non-lariat? For the lariat you need to tap into the larger white positive wire going into the headlight assembly, for non-lariat you need to tap into the positive wire that’s going to the turn signal on either side, it’s the wire for the drl.
