Hi Johnny, thanks for you continued griddlespiration! I tried crushed new potatoes and onions with Chipotle seasoning to accompany my ribeye. They turned out great. Boiled the potatoes for about 15 mins and let them steam off a bit then squashed them down with the smash burger press. Cheers mate :)
Hi Dean. I've done those potatoes before but but didn't use chipotle seasoning, that sounds great! When I did them I think I boiled the potatoes too long because they kind of fell apart. I need to give them another try for sure. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you for this video. I listened to it as if Norm Macdonald was telling me how to do it. Especially the mob part. All that was missing was an OJ reference.
Thanks Will! I got a video coming Im just trying to make sure I do it properly and don't rush. I think it's going to be a good one. I appreciate you watching.
Johnny! I made eggplant Parmesan on the griddle! Finished in the oven, but fried three pounds of eggplant at once! Recipe for chicken fried steak on standby - I got taco holder and shaved ribeye, Tilapia fillets and chicken breast. Taco Trifecta Tomorrow!
That's awesome!!! What a great idea to fry a bunch in the griddle then finish in the oven. That's how we used to do it at the retirement community I worked at. Taco Trifecta sounds great! Sounds like you've got a good weekend ahead of if you.
@@JohnnyBrunet Well, consider me teased. I spent a fair amount of time searching your channel, wondering how the hell I missed that video. Looking forward to it.
@@JohnnyBrunet I'm screwed!! I'm retired, I have 7 Saturday's every week! I don't have a Tuesday, or Monday, or Thursday, or Sunday, to start my diet! Please help with survival suggestions!
Howdy Johnny, gonna have to give those Tater Tots a try. Made the butter steak for Mother's Day dinner. It was delicious! A big THANKS to Robbie Ribeye for his sacrifice. Have A Day! ;~)
My wife usually freezes plain yogurt. Not "vanilla" plain. And definitely not Greek yogurt, something about the protein is bad for the dogs. Also occasionally peanut butter. It just takes him a long time to lick it all out and we can peacefully eat dinner.
I would add that if you are making bacon, save that grease for the scrambled eggs and fried tater tots. No need to add butter or oil, use that bacon grease! Prob not good for pancakes or cinnamon rolls though.
I wish I had a good recipe for you but those are straight from a can lol. That's the Pillsbury icing that comes with them. I'm not much of a baker so I keep it very simple.
You videos are TERRIBLE... for my diet. LOL. I need to create a filter so that I do not see these during fasting windows. I can eat eggs, bacon, sausages... none of this carb stuff.
The cinnamon roll mob references had me cracking up.
😁😁😁 glad you liked them.
Johnny doesn't matter whatever you do you knock it out of the park every time😊
Thanks so much Ross!
I love this channel, good tips and very funny!
Thanks Conrad! I appreciate you watching.
I always enjoy your videos. They are to the point and not filled up with a bunch of off topic gibberish.
Thanks, I'm glad they are helpful.
I’m with Daniel. Totally cracking up at the cinnamon roll mob reference.
Thanks Lisa glad you thought it was funny. Now that my son is 2 my dad jokes are coming in strong.
@@JohnnyBrunet Keep 'em comin'.
You should be a comedian. I was cracking up the whole time😂
Tha ks glad you liked it. I used to do comedy for fun before the pandemic.
Laughing and learning. Best way to teach! Thanks Johnny!
Glad you enjoyed it.
You the man , loved smashing ‘em down like they owe us money.
Thanks Kevin.
I hadn’t thought of the Tater Tot Smash. Nice one brother.
Thanks!
That biscuit bowl is beautiful!
Thanks so much, I'm working on the video for it.
Perfect timing as I am camping and was wondering how to cook my TTs. Forgot my egg rings but close enough for government work. Thanks for the tips
Close enough for government work 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣. I'm definitely using that one Chris. Thanks for watching and have fun camping.

lol I know at some point I'm going to have to start that diet too.
Love the tater tots hack, I had crispy crowns and they came out awesome!! Thank you

I desperately need a link to that video of the sausage gravy in a biscuit bowl. I can’t find it. I need that in my life.
Thanks Eric! I'm trying real hard to finish that video up by this weekend. I just wanted to tease it a little bit.

Nice hacks. Now im hungry
Thanks Randall.
Looks great. I will try these with the kids
Definitely try the pancakes they're easy and totally worth the effort. Thanks for watching Josh.
Yet Another Good Vid. It's as if you channel Red Green for your commentary. Love It!
Thanks so much Joe!
I always do bacon that way, then use the grease for taters and eggs. Still haven't tried the tots patty yet, but it looks really good.
Thanks Dale.
HAPPY Mothers Day Johnny Hack, lol.
🤣🤣🤣
Well done. It’s a long weekend here so the diet starts Tuesday 😂😂😂😂
And next weekend is a holiday weekend so I think we might just need to push it out two weeks. 😁😁

Kroger has tater tot crowns (flat tater tots) they are my favorite. Great tip on using the rings to cook the tots.
I've seen those but haven't tried them on the griddle yet. I need to give them a try. Thanks for letting me know and thanks for watching.
The rounds really are the superior tot. Little known fact... In Montana, tater tots are called gems.

Great hacks, also what type of oil do you use?
Tha ks glad you liked them. I usually use avocado oil.
Johnny...what's ceam cheese? Cheers my friend 🍻
🤣🤣 sorry it's cream cheese and it's delicious lol. Cheers buddy.
Lard vs butter vs oil. You need some challenges like the old World Wide Wrestling Federation 😂 let’s get ready to rumble !!!
That's a good idea Robert, thanks!

Y didnt you do cinnamon rolls on the warming grate under the dome?
I did them like that in my full cinnamon roll video I just didn't show them like that in this video. I think I like the smashed ones better.
