Why dont you give your son Odo a toy each season. It will boost your affection reliably and is easy to do just buy dolls from seamsters and swords from smiths. There is another character that will sell wooden carved toys but that is quest locked.
@@roguehy Amazing question! So, the higher your affection with them, the bigger bonus they get to their skills! That means when you take over as them (your current character passes away), you'll have to grind less to get those skills back up.
@@survivalgameguide ive done everything from hiking up mountains, hunting, building, and having to take him to an herbalist because he fell out of a tree and got hurt.
@@phyllisleisure144 Oh no! Poor baby boy! Those all sound like fun quests though! I can't wait until he grows up a bit more, so I can do the same thing!
Yes! You basically get to do the whole wooing process over again. So, you gotta go find a new wife, marry her, and then you can have another heir! And the cycle goes on and on and on!
@@survivalgameguide i was told that the old you (npc) will be able to have more kids once u transfer to heir, do you know if this is true and if so do they have the different colored eyes as well?
@@jonw3678 I have not heard this myself, so I can't say for certain that it does. I believe the old version of yourself can become a worker, so it's definitely possible since he and your former wife have a bed slot open in your house (if you have standard or above house, of course) to have another child. If you give it a go, let me know! Not sure about the eyes, either! I'll have to take a close look at my daughter to see!
That's amazing if you can find those villagers! And then mixing them with other rounded villagers can give some pretty great children, too. I don't have very good luck finding villagers who have decent skills all around, sadly. D:
Oof. That is rough!! I don't know if there are settings you can change on the PS4 to maybe make increase the graphics to make them better? But I also have a hard time finding things on the ground, too, if that makes you feel better. XD
You can give a toy to your kid as well each day/season I can't remember which but it boosts the affection as well
Great tip! Thank you!!
6:08 No You're Breathtaking! Is From Keanu Reeves!!
We should all try to be more like Mr. Reeves!
Shoutout grom another DS9/Star Trek Fan! Odo as heir sounds fun 😁
Heck yeah!! Love meeting other DS9 fans!! I do love me some Odo.
You make cool and informative videos man thank you
Thank you so much! That's so kind of you!!! I hope you enjoy the game!
I bought my son Gotard toys before he was even born 😂 i love the name
What a great parent! And Gotard is a great name, too!!

That is definitely something I try to do each season! I also have a video about unlocking that character's toys! He makes some cute ones!
@@survivalgameguide I like the birds best, they remind me of Robins. 😄
@@NannyOggins I adore Robins!! They're all so cute, it's hard for me to pick! Hahaha.

1:15 Not “missions”. The technical term is “honey do list” 😂
Hahaha! I love it! You're so right!!
Did you craft Odo a bucket?
I appreciate this comment so much. And you better believe I did! He's very shy without it, you know.
The ceremonionial hair cutting happens when he turns 7
Does it!? Dang, the sources I read from said 18. 7 is a lot sooner though, so that sounds good to me! Hahaha. Less to wait!
@@survivalgameguide you get to go on a lot of father son bonding quest after his hair cutting, I usually get one every other season

After an Heir takes over, can an Heir have their own child?

I try not to have people specialize in one item. I like real rounded characters so like level ten everything

I'm playing this on Ps4 and the graphics are no where near as good as this. I can barely see things that are on the ground because it is camouflaged.

just use inf stamina and use second sight to see stuff.
