Simply magnificent and beyond description for your deep down love for your culture. Your confidence and willingness to take far is simply inspiring for those who for some reason are too shy to express their love.
am Ethiopian and love love hambash and i have seen a lot of people claiming they can make hamash and it just tastes like regular bread lol yours looks legit, will try to make it.
I just made a Himbasha following your recipe. It is amazingly fluffy and delicious in general! Thanks! :) But I am pretty sure you meant to say 800 ml of water, instead of 80 ml. That could be nice to know. :)
God job sis.i Think dry yeast could be better. The wet yeast Smels a bit. But i really admire ur job as u grown up i Danmark. Ur follower from Kalundborg dk
Hello, thank your for sharing this video! Yesterday I tried the second time to make Himbasha. First time it didn't turn out well but with your mum's recipe and your explanations it got almost perfect. :)
Might be dumb question but do you bake it at 250 Celsius or Fahrenheit. I see you are using metric units of measurements but then 482F seems high but I've never baked bread before so..
ጽብቕቲ That is first word comes in my mind.I like your way and the explanations👌.I let my daughter helps me in doing the hembasha too cause I dont use to know it when I was young ,i start knowing it after marriage life & its so hard for me in the beginning.
Thanks for the directions. I'm aware it is approximate, but being able to start somewhere is basic. The old school of cooking, even in Sweden - Jamaica - Africa and more places, didn't use measurements as we know. Even in America lots of this as well. My Grandmother's recipes are this way, and without needed directions say for the Swedish Rye Bread because you are supposed to know how to properly make bread. My mother-in-law's Jamaican recipes are pretty much lost, she died before anyone could take the time to do what you are doing here. Thank you!!!
Great job... mama always would have her hand out to gesture the measurement.. pros don't need exact measurements they eyeball everything. Gotta love moms. 🇪🇷🇺🇸
Wow I was searching for how to make himbasaha ! Bum here yours was coming at #1 lol …. I m so so proud of you, you’re a great teacher for the new generation, I love how you did it & the way you explained in measurements! great job I Love it 💕
I always enjoy watching ur videos , u r so entertaining and big thumbs up for ur hambasha, I can't wait to try this recipe. And Sure u have to be proud of ur self and we r too.
Is it possible that you meant 800 ml of water? (8 dl). The dough is impossible to use with 80 ml. I just made it and I had to use 800 ml. Could you please confirm?
ma sweet sister am proud of ur chanels uploding video .pls pls pls keep on keeping it up up up .ohh thanks much more.u r perefect at this cultural thing.we need u all the times .i hope i will see ur proudly prouducts at unisco world heritures.
YAHUSHUA'S BELOVED Ata Kurkur Yemen, you are still talking huh? You live abroad and when you go back to Eritrea on holiday your bag is full of Ethiopian Berbere, Ethiopian coffee, Ethiopian Clothing, The whole world knows Eritrea is One poor country full of people with pride! Trust me I’m lucky enough to have visited both countries and the difference is incomparable. Going back to the himbasha topic; please open a history book & READ! I promise it won’t hurt your brain! You’ll only learn how, we Eritreans/Ethiopians have been influencing the rest of the world for millions of years, it’s not the other way around! If you are A Real Eritrean you need to stop giving the Arabs credit they don’t deserve! It’s an insult to your fellow people 🇪🇷🇪🇹
She is Eritrean and her mother too, she talks what her mother is doing, that is Hnbasha. That's why she says Eritrean Hnbasha because she lives in Denmark when it's good. Does not mean that I hate Tgray people, but this is the truth. Eritrean Hnabasha because she is Eritrawitttttt enough ❤️🇪🇷❤️🇪🇷❤️🇪🇷🇪🇷🇪🇷🇪🇷🇪🇷🇪🇷🇪🇷🇪🇷🇪🇷🇪🇷🇪🇷🇪🇷🇪🇷🇪🇷🇪🇷🇪🇷

Spot on with the whole 'no measurements' thing- BRUHHH Its a headache to follow their recipe by word - measure by the handful and check by feeling the consistency
