As recent as his father, an FBA man from Memphis Tennessee, drake’s culture and history is tied to black American culture and history. Drake and Kendrick have the same ancestors. He is literally just a black American who grew up with a Canadian experience. His roots are still American. And no one cares about his mom’s side. Since when have we cared about a mixed person’s non black side?

KENDRICK. Drake is an AVATAR for non-Black Americans into a music genre and certain cultural aspects they don't have comfortable access to other than as consumers. FYI: Not Like Us is very Oakland, Bay Area. Also, Kendrick admitted to cheating on his wife on his own album so that was a dud. And a man whose exes have all moved on, while he is stuck with an adult film actress, shouldn't speak on other people's relationships. A couple googles and you will find receipts for everything Kendrick said minus the hidden daughter. A lot Drake fans just want to shake ass and that's fine but don't call him the king of Hip-hop.
You Americans disrespect everybody else. But yet you all were complaining when Rap was dying before this beef. I wonder how you guys will cope when people inevitably move on from “consuming” your culture, that you constantly shout over to everybody else.
If this is the way you turn your back a half-african american canadian that has been part of your culture for over a decade, what would make any non-african american even want to bother investing in your culture.
As for me, I only started listening to Rap through Drake, and then got into the rest of the culture afterwards. But I think I and a lot of other people are going to stop listening soon after the traction of this beef dies down, and leave you to “enjoy” your culture all by yourselves, since you want everyone out so much.
