Tim, It a stock 4 speed (three post) clutch basket, designed to run "wet" Running in an "open" belt configuration that sound is the friction plates rattling when the foot clutch is depressed. He demonstrates that for us at the "round-about view of the bike. Ive noticed its something "They seem to like over there" because ive seen it quite-a-few times. it doesn't hurt anything. But I'm with you I think it would be irritating. We use open primary clutches and the friction plates are held in suspension and it stops that noise. But to each his own. Also if you notice These shovel heads are set up for 4 plug but he is only using 2 (not sure why) unless the quad ignition is too hard to get or tune. anyway its a beautiful motor. Not sure if anyone else noticed or not but he's running 14 inch wheels! And I agree with the man below I too think the cheep springer lessens the look somewhat. an original Harley servi-car or replica would be MUCH sweeter. But I still love this piece. in fact the three things I would change is the clutch basket--a replica black Harley-Davidson Springer--And a 50's era 3 1/2 gal. Tanks. I would keep the suicide shift and the 40's era 14 inch wheels and huge cokers. I comend him on his work...nice job.
She is a dream on wheels! Great build on her! The only thing I don't like is that crazy noise when you engage the clutch. What causes that? Is it the open primary? Nice work out of you, regardless!
Respect. I think it's a cool-ass build. I love seeing what individual styles they come up with in other countries. 3.5 gallon tanks would really make it look nice, though.
I admit I don't know squat about these bikes. I just know what I like! Ya it's noisey...but freakin badass! I wouldn't know a cheap springer from an original, but again...badass! I love em! I just love a bare, stripped down old bike without all the modern bs! My grandfather rode Harleys and Indians back in the 40's and I still get the family album out and enjoy those old bikes...nothing like em!
@Angry Possum i think bomber style is referring to the thick front wheel, with the low dragster look, basically a sub genre of a bobber, i am not one hundred percent though.... sweet thumbnail by the way!
Nice Scooter , but hopefully your gas stations are pretty close together over there as the tank full of fuel may last till the next filling station a couple mile away
I love how all of you keyboard commandos try to talk like you know about bikes. any Harley older than an Evo had noisy clutches, that's just the clutch plates rattling. once you engage the clutch it goes away. factory bikes have sealed primaries so you can't really hear it this bike has an open primary. I talk from experience, I have a 98ci hard tail Panhead with open primary and a jockey shift and a 79 Shovel head with open primary. educate your self before speaking please.
dirt fisher yea I love it ppl always talk like they know ..I always say to ppl atleast I build my bikes ..all ofem ..all my Harley's were basket cases wen I gotem
Brother had a Ducati 900SS some years ago. Dry clutch on them too... and it had a similar noise. (Fainter since it was behind a cover, but... similar.)

Now That's 1 Badass Scooter, Perfect Combination of Old Skool & Vision!!!....

He’s surrounded by buildings so I thought maybe it was the sound bouncing
I'm guessing they like it to sound rough and mechanical. Kind of like driving something with straight gears
Здрастуй сынок! У меня Урал ирбит 1968 года и она работает очень хорошо
@@ДобрыйКот-л6у I wish I knew what you were saying!

That guy should have two bikes like that. One to shit on and the other to cover it up with!
love to ride and own that...
The handle...what is it call?
Nice Scooter , but hopefully your gas stations are pretty close together over there as the tank full of fuel may last till the next filling station a couple mile away
oh ya put a primary back on that so we don't hear the clutch, wow that would drive me up the wall after a weekend. have fun
I love how all of you keyboard commandos try to talk like you know about bikes. any Harley older than an Evo had noisy clutches, that's just the clutch plates rattling. once you engage the clutch it goes away. factory bikes have sealed primaries so you can't really hear it this bike has an open primary. dirt fisher that seems to be the norm now days if you don't look like a Harley rider they should be driving a Honda.
dirt fisher yea I love it ppl always talk like they know ..I always say to ppl atleast I build my bikes ..all ofem ..all my Harley's were basket cases wen I gotem
dirt fisher especially when ran dry
Brother had a Ducati 900SS some years ago. Dry clutch on them too... and it had a similar noise. (Fainter since it was behind a cover, but... similar.)
Ducati has ran dry clutches almost as long as Harley has.
Jockey shift looks cool an all...........But Not Practical................For Everyday Riding in Traffic..........Nice Sled though .........Bro..

Nice - but sadly the cheap DNA springer forks lets it down.

Guys can somebody please tell what kind of tires are those?
Where did you get that rear tire
Good Boy
Noise is a quick fix, why everyone pissing about it. maybe he likes the noise. maybe he going for Rat, rat-a-tat-tat
Red, yellow, black and white, Jesus loves Shovels of the world.
WHAT IS THAT NOISE?
what is the loud screaching noise from the dry clutch? maybe a bad bearing in the pulley.
When you run the clutch "dry" and "out in the open" they are noisy like that.
すばらし-い
I'd be a little worried about all that clutch noise.
its an open primary
nice lookin ride
remember kids, smoking is not cool, it's just what cool people do.
Remember kids. When snowflakes tell you how to live your lives, flip them off!!
He looks like a dumb ass.
Congrats to a "I'm a good and decent person"-kind of comment!
Really cool people straddle their bikes when kicking it over.
smoking cures cancer
Where can I get the linkage for the foot control clutch?
very small clubman bars but cool

what size are tires / rims?
This machine looks evil.
Classic
