honestly i would kill for ricky to be single for a season. i feel like the writers are always taking advantage of the heartthrob that is joshua bassett but in reality it's not healthy to be moving through people so fast lol. petition for a ricky self-love journey!!

The writers have said that Nini, Big Red and Seb were going to have recurring roles throughout the season.
I have a feeling ricky is gonna be the one to help Jett come of his shell ,and start have fun at camp shalloway but, I definitely think they are going to make great friends.
For some reason, I have a feeling Ricky and Jett might even be love interests. I know Ricky jumping back to dating someone is a stretch but...Joshua has also said that he would be happy if Ricky is a member of lgbt and also Adrien (Jett) is silent on how his character will be like but I think they're going to make it a surprise. Plus Tim said they'll be more lgbt representation in s3 too
@@JaySewani Joshua has said he'd love for Ricky to have a storyline on being bi, plus fans would link back to 2x10. A bit of foreshadowing on Ricky falling in love with a guy. And again Tim said that there will be more lgbt representation but he's not going to spoil it until the entire season finishes

First off, Joshua wrote and produced Finally Free. KING ENERGY. And, I could be wrong but I think Gadget is just socially awkward. EJ has good taste in friends? So I don't think he and Gadget would be close if she wasn't nice...? I think she's just tryna be friendly and get to know EJ's close group. I COULD BE WRONG. I hope I'm not. Giving her the benefit of the doubt.

Portwell was shining in every scene they were in. They are so sweet and wonderful together. They went through so much heart break they both deserve happiness together. Excited for the rest of the season and your reactions.

not to be rude but what heartbreak has EJ went through exactly? My first thought was Nini but it was his own fault that she broke up with him so I’m kinda lost…
@@kaiitai they mean like relationships not working out for him. He really cared about Nini but ofc his own actions messed that up for him. Also the struggles with his dad and not getting into the school he wanted to go to.

I'm so glad Ricky finally realized lily stole his harnest it about time the fact she didn't know his name is a red flag I'm so happy to see him finally embrace change ,and in a more happy place I'm so proud of how far ricky has come.
Agree on Ricky embracing change and how far he has come. But on Lily, I don't think she doesn't know his name. She knows his name and nickname and she knows how he got it, or rather who he got it from. She tried to "rebrand" him by giving him another cutesy name that was obviously terrible.

My theory is just that EJ is going to _think_ that there's something between Ricky and Gina, but Ricky is instead going to be gay for Jett this season.
UGH, it’s so obvious they’re gonna do an EJ/Gina/Ricky love triangle (they’re practically beating us over the head with it at this point), and I am 10000000% NOT HERE FOR IT. And I say that as a former shipper of Ricky & Gina. But they got ruined beyond repair for me in S2 and Portwell won my heart entirely - like in a “I will go down with this ship, they are my children and make each other so happy and their happiness needs protected at all costs!” way, lol.

My guess for portwell this season is that they'll have the troy and gabriella arc from hsm 2. Ej is the one that invited everyone to the camp and now because of this responsibility he won't have time to spend with his friends and especially gina. He will have to spend time with some other girl (I think there's another girl character we haven't been introduced to yet) and gina will spend some time with ricky because she will feel alone (like troy with sharpay and gabriella with ryan). I think it's likely because it's a summer themed season and it would keep the connection with the high school musical movies. I'd love for them to go all out with it and make them sing gotta go my own way. Also, as a fellow portwell shipper if this happens I obviously want them to make up by the end of the season like troy and gabriella does at the end of the movie.

Overall I’m with you, going to die on this Portwell hill but it’ll be worth it… I really hope they don’t break up AT ALL but I can understand if there’s some drama because it’s inevitable now that Ricky is there plus there’s Maddox & Val (Meg Donnelly) coming in soon too. I agree that Ricky needs to work on himself and explore his talents. I just know our Portwell babies will be tested but I have faith they will survive!! 🙏🏻

Rina should have always been a thing. Since Portwell is first to date I think Rina will be endgame this season. Also I feel like Jett maybe related to Corbin in some form

*This is my take on season 3.*
- Ricky is emotionally NOT ok. I want him to be ok, but I 100% believe that they are going to go a dark route with him. 1, because he's obviously struggling emotionally and has been since the show first started. 2, because Miss Jen yelled at Ricky during a S2 scene and told him to “jump off of something tall”. Which means to die. Obviously, I'm not saying that something *extreme* is going to happen. I'm just saying that I really hope that one of the characters check on him.
they literally resolved all of this last season??😭ricky and nini made up and got closure, he gave ms jenn his blessing to date his dad and she apologized for telling him to "jump off something high" and they laughed about it? not to mention HE LITERALLY JUST SANG A SONG ABOUT BEING FINALLY FREE? 💀 he quite literally is more than emotionally okay. xx

Adam’s opinion changes a lot. He went from Rini (1x1-4), to Rina (1x5-9), then back to Rini (1x8-2x3), then Rina again (2x3-6), to Portwell (2x5-3x01). He’s always changing his mind

As for the past 2 episodes she’d been giving advice when Ricky didn’t ask (2x03, Nini called, Gina just gave advice, 2x04, Red asked, Ricky tried to stop him). It was neither Ricky’s or Gina’s fault, just a complicated situation. Unless you guys wanted Ricky to cheat?

if we’re being honest, portwell are breaking up at the end of the season 😭 you can just tell from the foreshadowing they were using in this episode & i don’t think they’ll have them together with him possibly going to college & gina as a junior next season 🤷🏽♀️ i think they’ll break up but ricky & gina will express their feelings to each other, but won’t get together til season 4.

I don't think ricky ,and Gina will be together by the end of the season, but I do think they'll set it up for them getting together next season, which imo makes sense bc I've always been under the impression portwell is a plot device for them whether ppl Iike it or not. Especially with them just never closing the book on their relationship with the many chances they had to)
