A strong tornado formed near Ottumwa, IA and raced northeast at more than 50 miles per hour. It quickly grew very large and enshrouded in dust and debris.
As a truck driver I was parked in east Missouri while all the tornadoes were happening throughout Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Tennessee, Arkansas etc. I guess I was in the middle of all of it. Definitely blessed to have missed it all. Winds were crazy but no tornadoes where I was.
Dsyaammm!!!! So glad I'm over here in S.W. part of the state!!!!! Be Careful out there!!!! Praying for all involved today's/ tonites' storms!! 🙏 Thank You!!!🙋
I get in these moods where I watch tornado videos & facts for hours amazing ..i live in Louisiana I have never seen one & hope I never do unless maybe it was like a open area where no one would get hurt which is kinda unlikely
@@PM-vv3uc you obviously don't knows the intricacies of tornados. Updrafts, inflow jets, rotation... Those are indicates of a decently strong tornado. Now unfortunately only damage gives a tornado its rating on the EF scale. But some tornados you can visually see that they're at least at high EF2 to EF3 intensity. It's not rocket science.

Crazy footage Brandon! Great job! What a beast tornado!
Another great video. Your May 2013 video is the best tornado chasing video I've seen.
I grew up there,I hope my friends and their animals are ok 😢
What a huge monster! But you can't tell what ef tornado this is.
This same storm even dropped 4 tornado's in Central NJ.

towards the very end that beast looked like it grew to EF-5 range.
WHAT EF RATING WAS IT?
whatchyou mean not for broadcast?
Wow. What a beast
Oh my goodness
That is Absolutely INSANE! Gotta be at least a EF3
Only because it looks huge doesn't mean it is a severe EF 3 tornado.
@@PM-vv3uc wedge tornadoes like this are normally EF 3’s and above
If it hits something or causes extremely severe ground scouring, it would probably get a rating within that realm.
@@PM-vv3uc true, but look at how fast it was rotating.
