PowerDrift Honda Jazz 2015 review please!
Well, I shall give you that...... Saw PD reviews of many cars, but talking about this, the word that it deserves is, "AWESOMENESS". However, I was once wondering, which car shall I opt for and finally I chose Grand i10. But the moment i watched this video review (elite i20), I changed my mind to go for this model. It's not just the reviews about the car, but the way you delivered it mattered a lot in the decision. And tadaaaaaa... Am a proud owner of a "Hyundai Elite i20"

i was really bored watching the video review of the i20 by other channels. All of them were boring like hell. talking about stuff that i generally don't care about cause I got car which is above this segment. However the reason why I was hoping for ***** to make a video can be seen clearly by watching this.. We don't need renuka kriplani and the odmag people anymore. Their videos seem more like from the 90s. ***** does embellish each and every detail of this car in such a tremendous and attractive manner that even a Hyundai hater might end up buying this car. You guys rock. As I said in one of my old comments, you really are bringing top gear home.. Thanks guys. Keep making such awesome content. However I am looking forward to the GLA video being redone by Tenhunt. :) Peace

yeah these guys take indian automotive journalism to the next level. I can always sense a Brit attitude in their videos. And they have set a bench mark that most Indian journalists can not beat. And on top of that I find BBC's top gear on rank 1 and these guys are rank 2.. Way better than the American Top Gear. These guys are polished and know what the Indian consumers want and they deliver the message in such a strong manner that everyone at whatever age they may be enjoy their videos... I guess the companies should pay them for making such Brilliant Videos. I esp love the Polo GT review.. Its mind blowing with all the drifts.. Ten Hunt you are awesome!
Saw the car on display at a mall in bangalore.... the 16' stood out definately.... and features list takes a life time to read.... so many to boast abt....

Took a test ride of Petrol, It was low on power. Own a Fluidic Diesel i20(2012) myself. One thing is, the handling is improved in the new car. The super light steering do weights up at high speed, but still not as confident as a Swift/ Polo. But in looks, it has no match in this side of 10Lac.
Whenever i think made a wrong choice by purchasing this car , i watch this video
this car just saved my life a month ago in accident car was fully destroyed and the house with which it was collided...but got safe with 9 fractures 😋 it was best car i ever had

@Sidhu, The petrol version might have 83 horses on paper, but the torque which it provides is sufficient to feel the burst of power from the engine with a slight lowering of the pedal. I took it out for a test drive, so i can confidently say so.

Attitude is everything which color did you get?
I've never liked hyundais but I recently drove a i20 diesel and it's really good it shows that Hyundai have improved the product, its loaded, its super silent and refined, the gearbox is slick and the overall dynamics is much better compared to the older i20 but still no match to the Punto or the Polo but then hey it does everything decently well and is a great product

Can't believe they added lot of features than latest Verna like 2 charging outlets, rear ac, etc...but still missing other features though...
Is there possible for side mirrors to "self" close and open for Verna while opening/closing the locks? I heard it's possible to customize at the car decor shop...
If I remember correctly, there's a team bhp thread dedicated to enable that function for the creta and Verna.
If I remember correctly, i read in that thread that the provision is already there.

Guys your presentation always been a trademark and can be used to identify things on Mechanical End, I dint like I20 too much in front of VAG Polo because of Ride and Mature Performance but this video tease me up like if something i missed out.. ;)
amazing review .... but a lot more could had been added about the exterior which comes up as the biggest selling point of this car , even the older version did wonders for Hyundai 'coz of the overall package the company gave which was fantastic and boy is it even more awsome now . :)

Guys i didn't read all the comments written.
But i found one more feature of this ,, it will help you to shift the gear up based on the speed you are driving.
Just as an example if we are running our car in 30 Kmph in 2nd gear it will show and "^3" to shift to the next gear three.

elite i20 asta or polo gt tdi whats your take on those two cars? is the Polo performance so much better than i20 that it outweighs all the features and looks of the i20?
Needs your opinion...is the diesel engine noisy? And my usage will be less,does it affect the engine. I don't like the petrol engine as it's only 1.2 lit for such a big car.please reply

great review, unlike other reviews where they boast of this cars drivability u were neutral. this car is only for city commuting. so we have to choose wisely between polo and i20. depends on the need . fun ride or family ride.

I am planning to buy a car this very month confused between Grand i10 and i20 Elite, apart from the looks is it worth spending extra money for i20 over grand i10? to be specific i am buying sportz variant from the car i choose and yeah i am buying petrol engine.
How's the turbo lag below 1500 rpm? And uphill drive ( kind of related question )?
And what about high speed handling, compared to the Verna ( which used to float at speeds even higher 90 )?

Everyone is talking about diesel premium hatches. Now that the gap between petrol and diesel is reduced to 11 rs in Mumbai . what about a petrol comparo between the hatches ? Would love to see a polo punto and the i20 comparo though. A swift would be a welcome addition in both the petrol and diesel comparos.

Booked it today and there is a 3 months waiting.. God the waiting will seriously kill me... But the showroom owner said he'll try to make it available ASAP.. I'll be doing the test drive on 30th.. Really excited.. I booked the red colour and one may simply run out of adjectives to describe the elegance and poise this car possess and the combination of the red colour and the chrome handles... :)
i got white Asta, dealer confirmed me after 2 weeks. great dealer in Hyderabad.
Gr8... I got it just after 3 days... But dealer has got nothing to do in it though... actually someone cancelled his booking and coincidentally the colour was also the same and so we got it soon... The driving experience is simply phenomenal I must say.... :)
Shorya Jain Hey man, it's a marketing gimmick from Hyundai, they say 3 months waiting because that way they actually created the demand for this car, they said the same for me too when I booked. I got it in less than two weeks. Co-incidence? I don't think so.
It's very cheap tho, I must say I don't like it and I'd rather have the dealers tell me the Truth!

The drifts seemed to be so classy at the beginning irrespective of not having wider tires. Sir, all salute to you and PD for showing as that cars with smaller numbers can also drift. Now i would like to know the noise and vibrations levels inside the car and the gear ratios.

(a). Is 16 inch alloy wheels standard in all versions. Or is it only in the top end models
(b) Whats the ground clearance. Is it really scrapping while running over the humps
(c) Can the additional accessories of SPORTS (O) can be added to SPORTS model later

I have heard reviews about i20 being more fuel efficient and eco sport not is it true ,is ecoboost technology is not adequate !?

Does i20 ASTA (O) petrol (top end model) has average calculator and does it show how many kms will the car run in the present fuel in the fuel tank. Does it have EBD? please do reply fast because I'm going to book tomorrow so please do reply fast....
As lovely as the car is, the PD reviews are always fun to watch. The car seems lovely, Hyundai has really aimed for that premium hatchback segment.

just noticed the mystic blue color they are offering is no more like the prev gen one... it was mroe blue and beautiful.. this new mystic blue seems much dull and more greyish... I was planning to book one.. still confused with the Polo 1.5 comfortline (which seems more value for money) than though the feature loaded Elite i20... please suggest on both the issues if possible, thanks! and if possible do make a comparision video between these two cars

well i know how hard it is to get it, In fact I sell them for a living.One more thing I hope you rember the old i20 video in which all the features wer shown and written next to them. It kind of stands out and loved it.

Company also left out 2 of the most important features from the old vehicle. 1) Rain sensing wipers.... 2) old i20 had ABS with E.B.D. were this has only ABS and no rear disc breaks

Are there no airbags in the car? In any variant? I am very impressed with its looks and design, but lack of safety is a real deal breaker!
Two airbags are standard on the Asta trim and driver airbag is standard in the sportz trim.
