🧣 Let that ex keep your old scarf in their drawer and let's knit up a new one together! The written pattern instructions are on my website here www.studioknitsf.com/all-too-well-scarf/
I goofed up on the fringe because I didn't watch the instructions video. The written instructions say to cut 102 - 7" strips, so that's what I did - I made a cardboard template that was 3 1/2" wide, wrapped it and and cut them as instructed in the written instructions (I checked my iphone's measurements and figured that your iphone was wider than mine). Really I was supposed to cut 102 - 14" strips. Mine still looks great! Not sure why I was confused, but next time I'll be sure to watch all video instructions. My sister wants to make this and I encouraged her to watch the VIDEO before beginning. I love the stitch pattern. I'm now working on a baby blanket using 200 stitches on the needle (and white yarn), and it's looking wonderful! Thank you for this pattern - it's taking over my life and I love it!
Lovely, I don’t listen to Swifts’s music but I read about the scarf! I really like how you re-designed it and made it easy for us to knit, thank you. I’m definitely going to knit this in the same colour too. 😌
I agree with you, Suraiya..I'm not a Taylor Swift fan either, but the scarf Kristen came up with is simply beautiful! I will surely get this a try also💎!! Happy Knitting!
Never knitted in my life, but I'm a big swiftie and I know how to crochet, so I'm pretty confident in my abilities to finish this ! 😅❤ Thank you sooo much for this pattern, I don't live in the USA and have no other way of getting this scarf except making my own
Love this so much! I’m a beginner and I made 1/3rd of the scarf already in three days by using your pattern. I’ve been trying to find a pattern that looks exactly like the original and yours was the BEST! Love this so much and thank you for such a great tutorial. You deserve the appreciation ❤❤❤ Ps I follow all your other tutorials too, I started learning knitting from your channel. You’re basically my teacher, thank you so much ❤
So funny! The day the album came out I decided to start knitting my own TSwift scarf but I used the seed stitch cause it looked the closest. I'm gonna have to just make another I guess! 😂
I started this in the summer but stopped because I didn't want to knit. Picked it up in November I think? but I just completed it. 80 inches long. Shorter tassels (& not as many). Yes, and I remember it All too Well 😊 great video, helps me read the pattern (since I'm a visual learner)
I made the scarf with a thicker yarn and started off with 50 stitches but the width became a lot bigger than what I wanted but didn’t want to restart so continued with it.If you are using thicker yarn make sure to start off with lesser than 50 stitches to get a more narrow scarf and also it will save you a lot of time.
Thanks for showing the FRINGE with needle. I'll try a scarf but in Andalusian stitch instead that I found in your knitting book too. It's very nice how the Andalusian pattern turns out. 🧶🧶
Thabk you very much its so beautiful and you explained it all soo well❤ although I have a question that after the 6th row am i supposed to k it the further rowe with 1,2,3 rows pattern or continue with 4,5,6 rows pattern please let me know ?
Hi Kristen, I’m new to your channel and trying to learn knitting as well. I love how you explain knitting ❤️ can you also make Goblin red scarf from Korean drama ❤️
Thanks for the video and the awesome pattern! Just curious is this design "stretchy" since it is k1, p1- I am a big stretchy scarfs 🤭. Usually I just stick to the basic k2,p2
Suggested Yarn: Red Heart Super Saver in color Burgundy Worsted Weight #4 500 - 600 yards (460 - 550 m) If knitting with the suggested Red Heart yarn, you’ll need about 10 oz total for one scarf, so I purchased and knit with two of the 7 oz Red Heart yarn skeins. Feel free to select any fiber and colors of your choice.
I'm fairly new to knitting so it's a bit confusing. I thought slipping 1 purlwise would have the yarn in the front since that's where it is when you actually purl. Why is the yarn in the back? If anyone could clear this up I'd really appreciate it
@@studioknit started over with 50... I'm sooo happy i did... Thank you so much... Love your channel... I think I'll be knitting a lot this season 😁😁😁❤️
Day one: couldn't pass from the cast-on long tail section. I'm never going to finish this by december 24 xD what is the name of this type of stitch? maybe I'll have to look in one of the book from my house that are in spanish. Trying to do this in english is not such a good idea for me :( I'd really appreciate the name of this stitch, please! thank you :)
There is no way to transfer patterns as they are two different crafts. I've seen other crocheters try the alpine stitch for this scarf. You could try that

I like the pattern but I'm not too big on red, btw absolutely love that you named it the swift stitch!
Used Nashua Julia and is knitting up so beautiful. Thanks for the pattern. ❤
Wow! My granddaughter who is a Taylor Swift fan has a birthday in a month. Your scarf is perfect. Can't wait to get started.
So fun!! 🧣

Glad it was helpful!

I agree. It definitely caught my eye. So inspiring

@@joyjackson5456 Happy knitting to you too! So nice to hear a lovely message from a friendly person near or far!! 😊
This is so thrilling! I love that you have created this pattern for us Swiftie knitters!
i got way too excited when u said that i needed 13 inch needles for the scarf😭 (13 being taylor's lucky number)
Haha, so true, I didn't think about that, so cool!

That’s a good choice, too! Make it your own and wear with pride! 💖🧣
Very nice! This will be easy to knit in the Portuguese knitting style. Thank you.
Fantastic video wonderfully explained and even for a beginner this would be great. I love this pattern. Thank you so much for sharing.
Enjoy knitting it up! 🧣

So beautiful! I just bought some red acryllic yarn! I want to make this as a x-mas gift for me, ha ha.
Have fun!
Thanks for showing the FRINGE with needle. I'll try a scarf but in Andalusian stitch instead that I found in your knitting book too. It's very nice how the Andalusian pattern turns out. 🧶🧶
Great idea, Donna. I recommend adding a border on all sides, like the garter stitch, since the Andalusian stitch tends to curl
Très joli effet et semble pourtant très simple à réaliser, je vais essayer 😊 j’adore❤ merci pour ce partage de votre savoir-faire faire 😊❤
Awesome.. Will definitely try this. Thanks 🌹
So happy you're inspired to knit this up, Hazel! 🧣
So stoked! I love TS!

Just what I needed
Wonderful to hear you're excited to knit this up, Joanne! 🧣
Very beautiful design
Thanks a lot!
Hi! Your pattern is amazing. How much wool is needed for this pattern btw?
Can you also make a pattern for the matching hat? I think I have a general idea of how to knit it up but would love your take
Hi Kristen, I’m new to your channel and trying to learn knitting as well. I love how you explain knitting ❤️ can you also make Goblin red scarf from Korean drama ❤️
If I'm using a circular needle for this, do I need to do anything different when starting a new row?
Wooooww Gonna Try this
Great to hear, SeRii. Enjoy! 🧣
Came for the pattern, was surprised to find the reading light tip. Need one of those over-the-neck lights for my next trip
Yes! Total game changer! 💡🧶💖
Oh this is is a great idea♡ It is cold and snowy Time to knit😀
Yes, totally! Thanks, Debra! 🧣
Hi. Could you please tell me how many cast on stitches I need to make using merino-alpaca wool that requires 3.5mm needles ? Thank you!
enjoyed this pattern and would like to try it with a hat
Knitting up a matching hat in the Swift Stitch is a great idea, thanks!!! 🧣
I love the design!! Thank you!!! I have a question, how do you count the rows (like if you lost your l place on which row you're on?)
Hi, great pattern can't wait to try it out.
Is it 7.0mm or 4.5 mm crochet hook? Sometimes I get knitting sizes and crochet sizes confused.
I pretty sure it means 4.5 mm
Lovely work again!! Xx
Hermosa, intentaré hacerla!
Very pretty😃
Thank you! 😊
Excuse me, I have a question. Size seven needles would be 4.5 mm? I think we may get lost in traslation
Yes
So I keep alternating 1 to 3 and 4 to 6 (one and one) or continue all the way with 4;5 and 6 I am confused
Thanks for the video and the awesome pattern! Just curious is this design "stretchy" since it is k1, p1- I am a big stretchy scarfs 🤭. Usually I just stick to the basic k2,p2
Yes, a little stretchy, but not as much as a regular rib stitch.
Lovely pattern. Thank you.
Hi, Helen - Happy you like it! 🧣
When you said keep repeating does that mean repeat from 1-6 all the way!!??
Woow This is very beautiful my friend! 👏🏼You did an awesome job 😊 (I covered this too btw) 😀.
How many skeins should I buy?
Suggested Yarn: Red Heart Super Saver in color Burgundy
Worsted Weight #4
500 - 600 yards (460 - 550 m)
If knitting with the suggested Red Heart yarn, you’ll need about 10 oz total for one scarf, so I purchased and knit with two of the 7 oz Red Heart yarn skeins.

Very beautiful 🤩 🥰💪

Hi how can I up get patterns, very nice
hello:) just a question.. can i use a basic cast on instead of longtail cast on? or do i need to use longtail?
Sure, any cast on is great!
My all too well scarf is not coming out like yours. My rows are coming out even. Do not know what I am doing wrong.
Very beautiful 😻 very much
Im going to make this scarf with green yarn and no fringes. I will knit mine with 30 stitches for a narrower scarf.
🇧🇷❤️🌹Lindo obrigada 😘
I DONT like Taylor swift but I DO like your scarf will give it a try now in a brighter colour for winter here in Australia, is next year in June 🧶💙🧶
I can’t seem to make the same pattern. I knitted it like how you said😭😭😭
How much yarn, needed.
500-600 yards of worsted weight yarn (there’s a link to the pattern in the description box)
@@Riviwriter Thanks so much for helping out!!! 🧣
ANY YOU LIKE KNIT AS LONG AS YOU LIKE IT.
Can a beginner try it too?
Certainly! Enjoy!
I've already started with 60 stitches, will it be too big? Should I start over with 50?
Yes, I think you'll be happier starting over with 50 stitches.
@@studioknit started over with 50... I'm sooo happy i did... Thank you so much... Love your channel... I think I'll be knitting a lot this season 😁😁😁❤️
1:14 why i literally made one (crochet ver) last year and my ex took it
and here I'm to make a knit ver this year
Could you please come out with a matching hat pattern?
Yes, Sierra. Just uploaded the matching hat for you! ua-cam.com/video/zQiUzJ3q7e8/v-deo.html

Watch the video again it shows in writing the stitches to follow
If I knit the scarf with curved needles, won't it affect the result?
Nope, totally the same results 💖
Is there an easy way to transfer knitting patterns to crochet or no? Just curious, I am sooo slow at knitting and it bums me out, I'd rather crochet 😭
There is no way to transfer patterns as they are two different crafts. I've seen other crocheters try the alpine stitch for this scarf. You could try that
Great suggestion, becks!!
arriba los swifties latinos!!!
THANK YOU! I tried to do it myself but it does not look good 😭
my scarf turned GIGANTIC idk what to do
You probably knitted with very big needles try 5.5mm or 6, 6.5mm in English size not USA sizes
1 to 6 and start again 1 to 6?
Looks like it, if that helps…
i think my yarn is too big is rigid
