I appreciate how you emphasize the authentic experiences, like connecting with local people and experiencing Tunisian cuisine and all …. It’s not just about visiting our country it’s about immersing yourself in the culture. Honestly, the Tunisian Ministry of Tourism should reward you because you’re doing such a great job promoting our country. Your genuine enthusiasm and deep dive into the local culture are inspiring others to see Tunisia not just as a vacation spot, but as a place to truly connect and explore.
Thank you for your kind words! Tunisia IS much more than a vacation spot and I hope my videos show people how safe it is here and the variety of experiences you can have. I'm glad you enjoyed the video 🙏🏼❤️
Eastern Algeria and western Libya, especially before the French and Ottoman colonization, were Tunisian lands and had the same customs as Tunisians because they were Tunisians in the past.
to be honest they were not tunisian lands , the berbers of the sahara were always free people, they travel from south morooco to south libya from season to season. you will be surprised that many of them until today don't have any official ID or Passeport from any country , they like it that way. i saw once someone interviewed a family in the desert of algeria near the tunisian borders and asked them if they are algerians or tunisians and they responded " we are the people of the sahara " nationality doesn't matter , we travel to the west or to the east freely.
Words are not enough to describe how much I love your content. Everything is excellent. I like how you explain, how you dialogue, how you choose details, I even like the way you walk!🚶♀🤩
Hi !
Hi Emily! I am French of Tunisian origin and I wanted to tell you that I love your videos 😍😍 especially when you went to Bizerte 🤩🤩 which is my hometown, you absolutely have to taste a very well-known dish in Tunisia which is the mloriya and another typical dish from the Bizerte region which is the "macrouna maftoula" 🙂🙂. I wish you good luck in Tunisia and lots of success 🫡🫡👏👏👏
Good work you do to show our culture I think even more then Tunisian people do .. much success in what you are showing for all people interesting to visit our country and discover the best side.. I wish you success in your channel best wishes
Dear Emily, disregarding my crush on you, I really want to thank you for this video! This kind of stuff is not well portrayed in Touness, with mainstream media going through an unreal phase of mediocrity. Looking forward to fully enjoying every minute of your content 🎉
You're outdoing yourself, Emily! I didn't see this one coming, lol. As for Zarda festivities, if you ever want to see an even bigger event, I'd recommend checking out the Sidi Telil festival in Kasserine, or some Zardas in the south too. It's-how to put it-same same but differeeeeeent xD the riders have a totally different set too
Those shotgun shells are only filled with gunpowder and no projectiles, so they ignite make a boom and only some fire and smoke come out. The plastic casing part stays in the gun.
Zarda is an act of shirk (associating partners with Allah), which goes against the concept of Tawheed (the oneness of Allah). It involves people visiting the shrines of those they claim to be saints and offering sacrifices to them, believing they have the power to benefit or intercede. Such acts are considered disbelief and shirk because worship and offerings are due to Allah alone. I urge everyone to be aware of the seriousness of this matter and to educate others about the importance of dedicating all acts of worship solely to Allah.
Thanks for this pathetic comment!!! Do You guys always need to involve religions in every aspect of our life ??? Let people celebrate, have fun and do whatever they like to do , what’s your problems ? why any joy or happiness it bothers you??
@@MegaFreedom2006Well he's not wrong if people visit those shrines with intentions that he has explained, then it is shirk. Its just important to be aware of not commiting shirk because it is a major sin. You're still allowed to visit those places of course. But yeah we're Tunisians and Tunisians are muslims so yeah everything should be about religion. Its kinds sad how Arabs in Europe and the US are so religious but Arabs in their own country are losing more connection to their religion.

you focused on the negative side of the event, it's really sad if that's how you see the world, this is a traditional gathering that dates back hundreds of years, it is something from our cultural heritage that shows how generous people are and how genuine they are, everyone gets to enjoy a wonderful knight show, eats incredible food and meet people from all over the country, everyone is having a good time here, it shows how rich our culture is and how safe Tunisia is, there's no need to drop your political or religious beliefs somewhere where it doesn't belong, there is a lot of religious content on UA-cam you can enjoy it and express your thoughts, this is a place of joy and spreading peace, after all everyone you seen in this video is a proud Muslim, don't judge people by your own bias standards
