That might not be a good comparison since your Pattern brush is the Mini brush. And your hair is very thick. Maybe the full size pattern brush would be better on your thick hair.

As I see it, another choice. In the shower, and control in handling. I have the regular size, it reminds me of the Denman with more stiffer bristles. I like them both.
