Hey Vivian! Just curious if you ever read any Dean Koontz books? He sorta reminds me of Stephen King. His books are good reads when you find time check him out I think you'll be pleasantly surprised. I'm glad you shared your book list I'll be checking some of them out.

I’m an avid reader as well. The Girl On The Train was a good read and all of the books I’ve read by John Marrs was so good, very twisted. Also The Silent Patient by Alex Michaelides and Verity & Layla by Colleen Hoover. Oooh also The Four Winds & The Nightingale by Kristen Hannah. All The Light We Cannot See by Anthony Doerr. These are more historical fiction but so beautifully written. All of them had me in tears.
Yes! As a writer, it warms my heart to know that people out there are still buying books! There's a mystery series co-written by Kathleen Glasgow and Liz Lawson that might be to your taste. Book 1 is called The Agathas. It's YA, though (I write middle grade and YA, so I tend to read a lot of that).
I'll check it out!
