I disagree that Hellblade 2 is pushing what the Series X/S can do! I believe those consoles can do more if they fully use all the hardware inside the consoles and let them be unlocked to choose if you want to play in Fidelity mode or Performance mode gaining fps while losing resolution, JS 🤷🏻♂️
They’ll be amazing once the FSR 3 update hits consoles!

If Hellblade 2 can run on XSS at 30, it should run on XSX at 60 with similar graphics settings unless it's CPU limited (something like Dragon's Dogma 2). Nothing in Hellblade's gameplay suggests it pushes the CPU at all.

They're using Unreal Engine 5. Which is very demanding on both the GPU and CPU.

@rsoaker27 I think that's why Sony uses an enhanced version of UE4 rather than using UE5.
It's like in DBZ, Vegeta chose to optimize Super Saiyan 2 instead of ascending to Super saiyan 3 cus SS3 is very taxing & drains stamina fast though it is a very powerful form its not worth the strain on the body.
No UE5 game is running 60 fps on a console lol people just like to complain

You might be able to get it to run at 60 fps with cartoon graphics. The level of detail hell blade 2 is putting out has never been seen before.
@NewsanceInHD Hellblade is a cinematic movie walking simulation made with ps in mind at 1st until bought out. The graphics look good..but you are looking at a pc build don't forget. Detroit become human probably still holds best realistc human graphics ever..in dark and lite settings. UE5 games usually have an 60fps option.

not trying to be inflammatory. I am quite a Microsoft fanboy.
But in all honesty when I see smart Phones able to play current generational video games. which kind of negate the ultimate importance of cloud computing to some degree.
And I see meta-and Google and Apple diving into augmented reality and VR. And google and Apple are big and smart phones. And year after year I see windows fall behind and being neglected at Microsoft .......
I just feel like windows days are numbered as the desktop becomes less relevant until it is no longer around. 😭😭😭
and looking back on it, it seems to me at least the death of windows phone was the final nail in the coffin. When windows days became numbered.

The thing is, Windows is the only real way to play PC games. Plus, most businesses choose Windows for work machines over Mac. Now for average joe I can agree with, most people would rather just buy a handheld/phone or traditional console.
What phones are able to play current generational video games? I keep seeing people say this online, but I have yet to see a phone that *actually* does this.

Xbox and MS store should accept Bitcoin as payment method. There are 1400 million people hold Bitcoin so by doing that, MS could open up the biggest customer base in decades.
