  • I was asked "why use Alto Stealth with the Everse 8?" It's already a Bluetooth speaker! That's a fair observation however I'd like to answer by showing you how I expand on it's already great but limited capability. This speaker has answered so many of my needs and all I did was use the technology of the the Alto Stealth to make the Everse 8 even more versatile. I don't forget to like comment share, and subscribe!!!

    Bluetooth introduces audio lag. When mixing... you don't want that. Wireless audio adapters like the stealth are super low latency compared to pure blutooth and they get much better range. Simple as that. Good video though - great idea to power the stealth off the power out of the PA.

      Thanks for your input and watching this video. Yeah I generally don't mix with Bluetooth because it lags big time.

      I use the same power cable that came with the Everse 8 tray for microphones. If you don't already have one he has a similar cable. amzn.to/3AUVpdt

    I have the Alto stealth wireless mk2 and plan to use a similar setup. I’ve been tired of throwing xlr cables around both before and afterwards. About how long does the speaker power your receivers? Assuming you tuning them at 80% volume

      @gfire_productions  2 місяці тому +1

      Thanks for watching. I usually set the Everse 8s to unity gain and it powered the Alto stealth through the entire event. I've rocked the Everse 8s for 5-6 hours at full party mode with more time to spare. Average wedding from prelude to grand exit is 6 hours. Average park & rec gig is 4 hours. Most Ive done with stealth powered by EV8 was 7 hors and with time to spair.

      @@gfire_productions I’ve bought speakers to handle events for about 100 people but I’ve never really had constant gigs with 100+ people. So I’m looking to downsize my gear to accommodate 20-60 people. Easy setup easy breakdown easy transport, plus I feel like the average person doesn’t want that in your face bass and high spl experience. IMO 🤔

    Torn between AT Wave eight with Sonic link or the Everse 8 - mainly for Dance music.. whats the bass response like on the Everse 8 in real life? AT Wave 8 is supposed to be 20Hz-20Khz and the Everse 8 'only' goes down tp 50Hz

      @@Lectrosoul thanks for watching. Let me first say every speaker is great for what it’s been for but at some point, we all have to ask ourselves who is every type of speaker for and what purpose does it serve. I chose the Everse 8 based on wedding ceremony set up. It is not my go to choice for partying unless I’m in a really small environment and I have tested out both(a pair of EV8s) of them in a party type of environment. I reiterate is not my first choice for a party but it is a good choice based on the features I needed. Check out this video with 2 EVERSE 8s in a party environment: ua-cam.com/video/we4VFPsovOg/v-deo.html and at a wedding ceremony; ua-cam.com/video/NSU5Y-N_t-U/v-deo.html

      @@gfire_productions Hi Man, appreciate the reply, tbh got some nice PA for bigger parties, this would be a gift to my self purchase for little late night beach gatherings with some frends and such like!
      if the wave 8 had use replaceable battery id probably pick it up in a heart beat, the 20Hz-20Khz is quite appealing✌

    Do you think it’s necessary with the alto system to get the ant extender like the Shure one?

    • @gfire_productions

      Great question. In my opinion any antenna encasement would be an improvement. in y experience it is not necessary and I been very successful in large environments: Check out this example of the alto stealth in a very large room: ua-cam.com/video/LIYQJrxPlRE/v-deo.html
