I didn't listen to Gazette before because I thought they just sang angsty songs... until I heard Taion and Guren and found the translations and learned their meaning. WOW, Gazette... blew my mind. They're beautiful.
This song is just perfect. I literally have to catch my breath every time I listen to it because it's so beautiful. And they just perform it so well. And the lyrics are so touching... And holy oh my goodness are they gorgeous!
I made it into an interp event for speech. Probably the fifth time I've used the gazette as an example in my work. Its truly a wonderful and beautiful piece of work though.
Thinking for a minute about what is the theme of this song makes it pretty clear that just standing and listening is pretty much the best thing one can do when they're playing it.
@spiritrspiritr I don't know if you play guitar or not but if you do, you should be able to tell it's definitely the RIGHT note he hit by looking at the position of his hand in case that you can't by ear. The note was just merged with the whammy bar's effect.
I honestly don't know why he cried......but the lyrics and meaning behind this song are very deep and painful. Most likely he is just very moved about this song because something happened in his life.

@haruka2108 the whammy bar effect............? that has nothing to do with it, he hit the wrong note, instead of hitting the C# on the 16th fret of the second string, he definitely went somewhere else. note sounds 2 to 3 key higher I assume he uses the wrong finger on the 3rd string and went down too much.

@AugieSubsJrock yes he did, so it's not a big deal or anything I'm just pointing it out......but I've never see Aoi miss a note or anything, of all the live clips I've seen, Uruha made the most mistake, Aoi is very stable in his position I mean......he kinda sending out a message to Uruha saying go ahead and do whatever you like as long as I'm here I'll cover for your mistake.
