- Sublime sampled one of my favorite arias, “Summertime” from the opera Porgy and Bess, so of course I had to cover “Doin’ Time.” There are some tragic parallels between the plot of Porgy and Bess and the life of Sublime’s lead singer Bradley Nowell 💔
