I can't get enough of this cover. It's done just right and with style. ❤ Robyn and Brielle complement each other so well. When you listen to this, you get drawn into the story of two friends who came to Hotel California but know that they can never leave."
The arrangement, style, and blend of sounds is so incredible that I just want to close my eyes to appreciate the perfection of the sound. Another absolute winner!
This whole cover was perfect, every part of the arrangement, from the winds to the vocals was insane. All crazy talented musicans. You can easily recognize every sound as typical/iconic surf rock, which in this cover is in clear display, but i also think is one of Robyn's greatest features; that capacity to make the song so different from the original ye so distintictive and clearly the new genre. Easily one of my new faves and i've been following for years! kudos to everyone involved. p.s. as a drummer, those drums were so on point man!
Wonderfully done, so fiery, catchy, charismatic. So good to see your friend Brielle performing with you and I hope to see Virginia Cavaliere, either only with you or with you and Brielle, relatively soon. It reminds me of how some songs, either their original versions or versions that came later, including some standards, are energetic, in a way light-hearted in terms of how they sound, can all around sound like happy fun kind of songs, but lyrically are closer to sad songs, here are some examples - Dion - The Wanderer, Bobby Darin - Charade, Mel Tormé - Autumn Leaves, Jimmie Lunceford - Baby, Won't You Please Come Home.
Very, very nice! Loved the surfer vibe, made me smile. I will rank this as my favorite up-beat version of the song, along with the Gipsy Kings. Robyn's covers are always a delight!
Maaaan what a shame you didn't play the second solo. I was talking to myself like if they play the solo right this might be better than the song itself. Such a shame it would've been cool to listen the solo on saxophone. It's still a great cover. Can't expect less from robyn. GREAT JOB
Really fun to see you do a duet, I'm not sure if you have done that before on your channel but I'd love to see more of that! Brielle is fantastic and your voices complement each other well.
Great duet and great reinterpretation of that 70s classic. Really like the "surf" arrangement, giving an original take on the classic "California sound" of early 1960s SoCal, while providing an interesting contrast to the ominous lyrics of Don Henley and Glen Frey (in junior high actually had a teacher make the class interpret the lyrics of song).
You had me at "surf rock." Your mastery of those subtle dance moves from the era before you were born, perfection! I have always loved the way your voice and Brielle's work together. Josh was channeling Dennis Wilson, and the rest of the band clearly brought their A game. Happy Summer, Robyn!
Tremendous arrangement. Brielle's voice is a perfect compliment.
What a nice surprise.

Indeed.
The harmony of Robyn’s and Brielle’s voices is gorgeous! What a delightful way to start the summer!
A new hit for the californian summer of 1962. 🕯I loved it, thank you.
So Happy to see Brielle back singing with you again. Your voices blend so well together, Great Job
Oh, man, those harmonies were epic.
They sound so great together!
In an alternate universe, Hotel California is a sitcom and this is the theme tune.
I assumed this was Beach Boys instead of Eagles

Потрясающий дуэт!
Любимый медлячок многих диджеев в завершение дискотек 80х. Лунные, теплые, летние ночи плавно переходящие в утренный рассвет....
Sounds like Uma Thurman should be dancing to it in a Tarentino movie! LOVE IT!!!
Now that's a radical change on a masterpiece. Great job. Just don't let Don Henley know.

@@BeckVMH Just as long as Henley doesn't find out. Robyn should be protected at all costs.

Loved this with you and Brielle, one of my favorite songs, and see you got the wink in, yeaaaaaaa!
Never thought the song could be played in this style n still not lose the fabric.
Nicely executed. ❤
Congratulations, Robyn and Brielle, this groovy rendition has me hyped up for summer and sunshine already! 🌞😎
These new arrangements bring new life to old songs- very cool!
The arrangement, style, and blend of sounds is so incredible that I just want to close my eyes to appreciate the perfection of the sound. Another absolute winner!

Brilliant! One thing that would make this even more awesome would be adding an instrumental section with jazz solos!
We love you two collaborating. 🥰😍🥰

Love this. I don't know if it's a parody on the original or not. One way or another it's done with a real sense of humour. Well done.
OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH THIS IS SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO GREAT!!!!
Beautiful song!
Beautiful harmony!

More mariachi than surf, to my ears; excellent, whatever the style was!
Tarentino movie feel
