Necessary Assumption LSAT Logical Reasoning

Necessary Assumption questions are the head of the Assumption family. They make up approximately 10 percent of questions in Logical Reasoning, but they have a major impact in Strengthen, Weaken, and Flaw questions.

I understand the example but can't help my skepticism of the example given because my car is push-start; therefore, the keys aren't in the ignition while I drive.
