Some of my favorite moments are the cats making appearance's, rc4wd mystery boxes, spraying yourself with shock oil.

It isn’t a specific moment, but the early episodes of Livestream Takeover were some of my favorites. It was nice having other people to interact with besides my family. The “sleeping bag for two” and the Ford Ranger hate were some fun moments too.
Not a specific moment but I appreciate the banter with Matt and Nicole. Feels very familiar to how my wife and I are and how our friend group is.
My favorite moment is from a Friday night live when the topic got on nursing homes and the "activities" that take place in them and Nicole's reaction to said conversation
that Coyote Grande should have been a 2 DOOR Bronco II. That grill never came on an Explorer.
Either did the rear windows, I never understood there choice of a 4-door bronco 2

While the shock oil fountain was glorious, I remember you doing a build in the Vanquish office not too long after you started there. And in the middle of the stream your co workers barged into the room and gave you a pretty good scare. That face was priceless :D

Oh mate the series 2 is a classic. When me and me brothers were just lads grandad would let us sit on the front bumper. Man the 70s were a great time!

One of my favorite moments was the live when you and Matt opened your RC4WD boxes. Both of you had much different reactions to the un boxing and that was hilarious. But anytime Nicole is on is some of the best entertainment. Her giving you a hard time is hilarious.😂

A mixture of XT60, EC5, Deans, and 5mm bullets. Also, agree that soldering is a great skill, been doing my own soldering since I was 10.
In the process of converting all my plugs to IC. The convenience of the Spectrum G2 Smart batteries & charging system has me hooked.
I still use Anderson Power Pole connectors. Way back in the day (30 years ago), RCCA tested the resistance of connectors and those came out on top. Old habits die hard.

Straight EC5 and IC5. I found it's more fun bashing when your batteries stay connected.

Good stuff Josh. I've gotten the most from your tutorials on truck set up. COG, shocks, overdrive, brass placement, tire foams and or tires. Stuff that doesn't brake the bank but can improve the overall performance of said vehicle. Anyway have a good week man. Cheers!
I take and cut the little center wire and soldered on my own plug to the spektrum smart battery. Worked fine.

Deans, XT60, and EC/IC5. I learned how to solder about 15 years ago from a long time buddy of mine at the RC track. Frustrating to learn at first, but once you do it’s such a valuable skill to have in the hobby dare I say a necessity.
When you were cleaning out your work shop and everyone was trolling your Magnum PI mustache 😂
I had this soldering gun for 20 years. It started not working. I replaced the stainless steel holder hardware with black oxide. And it works better than ever. So sometimes you aren't crazy.
Favorite moment had to be one of the live streams where you and Matt were discussing how much you had spent on a build off and all of a sudden we heard Nicole shouting at you "Omg you spent how much....Your an idiot" while we all laughed our arses off .

i really liked the TRX4 build off you did with mat a few years back.
0:37 _It's 1/18th scale but it's a huge vehicle._ Can you imagine how huge their original 1/10th scale must've been?
There are far too many great moments on your channel. I really enjoy the chemistry between Nicole and yourself. You kids are cute❤
The coyote body, it's the front end it's more bulbus than the 1/10. Look at them side by side and the 1/10's hood is almost flat, just a slight raised center section. On the 1/6 the raised center is much higher, almost to cowl induction levels. The 1/6's fender flairs also come out more and are rounder in the arch, making them slope down in the front faster leaving a larger space between the headlight bezel and the flair. All this put together makes the 1/6 front look larger and imho more toy like. The 1/10 looks like an actual truck, the 1/6 looks more like the Tonka version of that same truck.
I use XT60 exclusively and have a soldering station... my ancient Deans went to the trash when I switched, about 4 years ago now(?)
IC is the best plug... lowest resistance, solid connection that does not unplug when bashing, and solder joint snap on cover so no heat shrink necessary
Have a few favorites… but I’ve rewatched the flex seal truck breakdown several times..like flying cars. Gets better every time. Lol

As for the SCX6 Coyote, maybe it looks a bit off because that's close-up wide-angle shot?
I use all the Spektrum stuff on my crawlers now and XT60 stuff on my Traxxas Slash stuff. My dad and brother and myself race the Slash at my dad’s backyard track. When I raced dirt oval everything was deans. Eventually I’ll probably go all in on the IC and EC. I have migrated to all Spektrum equipment. I’ve been using Spektrum radio’s since 2010. I don’t use their servos though. I have moved away from Reefs and gone to NSDRC servos and so far they have performed great and they are a bit cheaper. Way off subject but there you go. Xt60, even though the products are way better these days and choices, my favorite time in the hobby is when you were doing the first deadbolt budget build. I also built a pretty rad C-notched Wroncho when you did a c-notch build. I ended up boxing my chassis in front and rear up to the skid plate. Also using your idea with 1/2” square tube cut in half for shock towers.
About the time Vaterra released their k5 blazer it was like “OMG” it’s so scale. Then my buddy bought one and we’re like..uh that torque twist is stupid these things suck 😂. Peace ✌️ Magnum!

I have slowly been switching to IC5. The IC5 plug is way easier to solder in comparison to the EC5. I have several non smart batteries with IC5 plugs on them.
Oh… my favorite moment was when you built that Cadillac buggy thing.. 😂
I am so late this week. A Friday night live stream with your wonderful wife. I remember being bent over laughing, need to jog my memory on exactly what happened. Run mostly xt60,9Os. Then Losi/ spectrum think I have one Taymia car with stock connectors and I have a least one truck with a dean's. Thank you for the update 👍🏁😀. I can solder ok . I have been better at times and worse at times!!.

I got hooked when you and Matt did the trail honcho honcho budget builds I use xt60 plugs I have had many deans get hot and start to loose connection I’ve never had an issue with an xt60
Man… favorite moment…. I have been watching since before the SCX10 Deadbolt weekly build off. Nicole and your cat bantering is always fun on the live streams. The wheels that never spins in your favor and likes Matt even though they are on separate computers…. The Hauler PC builds were very outside the box and awesome.

Just went from Deans to XT-60 a year ago when I got back into RC.
I’d like to think I’m decent at soldering. I’ve done a few thousand battery plugs, motor leads, and esc builds
I liked all of the moments when you discover you've been rambling on without audio. Your face is priceless! lol

I love all your stream, more so the friday ones. For the connector I'm using traxxas as I love the chargers that has the id and balance of the battery automatic and using adapter to connect on my esc xt60

I was going to 100% do the pre-order on that Lowrider from redcat, but I live in Alaska and tried to order gear set for my ascent fusion and they wanted 60 bucks for shipping on $25 parts that could fit in an envelope and ship with just a regular stamp. Emailed them to see if they would just throw it in the mail for me and not charge me over inflated shipping, and they are unwilling to customer service won’t be buying another rig from them. I’d hate to see the shipping cost on it.🤦♂️

My Fiance got me a purple one of those Kaido house cars. Not a Tamiya collab but it’s the same casting. The thing is gorgeous. The wheels are made of turned aluminum. The rims I mean. The spokes and such are plastic. But yeah not only are these models gorgeous they’re also built strong.

My favorite moment was when the one guy commented about not liking your videos, but still wanted to ask a question. I also love the rc4wd surprise box. Xt60 on crawlers ec5 on racecars and bashers.
When did you last use Krawlers anyway.
Some of the best moments on your channel have been the Phoenix straight axle beard video, VS4-10 flex seal, mystery boxes and of course all the randon personal details and cat butts. Honorary mention to the cat in the little wooden box, just for how uncomfortable it made Matt and Nicole.

I learned how to solder before.I left home to join the military. Once I got in the military, they trained me to ark, tig, mig, braze, and solder with torches. I had the tedious task of certifying to weld on the aircraft. I've been sottering for 50 years and welding for 30.
Off topic seuject: possible blurpe for one of your shows, "How many RC companies in the world don't sell in the U.S.?
I was reading up on the Hyundai N Vision 74. Korean made 1/10 scale on-road, and it isn't for sale in the US. It made me think about what other companies don't sell in the US that we don't even know about?

Castle bullet connectors been using them for 10 years. Only lost one esc with reverse polarity.

Decent at soldering but it’s always been my least favorite part of RC. XT60s are still my go-to connector.
The Friday night lives were my favorite. So many rad builds! Flex Seal truck episode is a classic.
