I think her aim in this video was to show how modern society is can be connected to the old ways of living. Nature is still nature with or without technology. Many younger generations are slowly leaving the ways of their grandparents for all things modern. She is showing how you can still live in a modern society, yet still hold true to your roots, and she did a fantastic job of showing that.

It's nice to just look at each video and click on one and be pleasantly surprised as to what's in it - especially with how nice this woman's videos are! If your mom was mexican and that happened she would of told you not to pour it, as the bottle could have tiny pieces of sharp glass and you can ingest it and slice or cut your throat or insides, what they do is grab a clean kitchen rag and pour it so like that it filters if there's pieces of glass, they always did that whenever we dropped or glass bottle of juice or something else haha

Nevermind the fact that she films these videos on a pretty advanced camera, far more expensive technology than an old beaten up moped or smartphone. Also, I really like the use of technology as long as it only plays a small part in the videos. It makes the videos seem far more genuine and less played up like some kind of fairytale land. Even farmers in rural China have to rely on technology, people just seem to want to conveniently forget that fact.
Fun fact: You can actually pull opening a bottle like this off without breaking the neck. You have to move the knife parallel to the bottle so you only hit the rim of the cap. (It's how Dutch students do it if they're feeling fancy, though they use a spatula)

Nevermind the fact that she films these videos on a pretty advanced camera, far more expensive technology than an old beaten up moped or smartphone.
Also, I really like the use of technology as long as it only plays a small part in the videos. It makes the videos seem far more genuine and less played up like some kind of fairytale land. Even farmers in rural China have to rely on technology, people just seem to want to conveniently forget that fact.

Fun fact: You can actually pull opening a bottle like this off without breaking the neck. You have to move the knife parallel to the bottle so you only hit the rim of the cap. (It's how Dutch students do it if they're feeling fancy, though they use a spatula)

Ingredients she used: leg of lamb cut into chunks, some freshly picked ginger roots - sliced, a few solo garlic - crashed, dried lily flowers (looked like dried orange peel strips in the video, soaked) and lotus nuts - I guess, fennel seeds, green Sichuan pepper corns (she picked them freshly), tofu skin sticks (the long white wrinkly stuff, soaked and cut into pieces), some star aniseeds, red maybe mild chili peppers - roughly sliced, a few laurel leaves, cloud ear mushrooms (also soaked before cooking), sugar, broth, soy sauce, Chinese cooking wine, chopped chili peppers and spring onion for garnish.

I thought the pressure from the bottle is required and was surprised she could do it on a non-pressurized bottle. Having said that, I don't have the nerve to try it, especially without safety glasses!
