They are so full of ideas of how to cook and eat food, I was suprised to see that the charcoal pot can be used to both keep food warm and to actually cook fresh meat right on the spot to eat it. Awesome :)
I say this kind of lifestyle is the best. You're literally living in a place where everything you need is around you. Freshness and health, good food, lovely dog, warmth and love from your family and peaceful relations with your neighbors. What more can you ask for, right?
I really miss my family in the countryside. Grocery shopping with my cousin and cooking with my mom and aunties. We used to cook and eat together like this. With good food and company. Each meal was amazing. Young children sat around the table to listen to the elderly.

When I watch your whole family sharing the hot pot, I cannot stop missing my grandfather. He passed away few days ago before his 96th birthday. I couldn't make it to his funeral. I was told that my grandfather was very peaceful at his last moment. I understand that living for 95 years is already a miracle, still I wish that he could stay with us longer, or forever. I should eat with my grandparents more often when they were in this world. Sharing the food with family is the most beautiful thing in the world.
Hi Dianxi, here in America, many of us are about to celebrate Christmas, on the 25th, so on these blessed occasions, like this and Thanksgiving, it is the African American tradition to prepare our homemade soul food, all from scratch(totally prepared in the home) such as, mustard and turnip greens, Mac n cheese, candied yams, jerk chicken, turkey n dressing, green beans, dinner rolls, deviled eggs, lemon butter double chocolate chocolate chip oatmeal raisin and chocolate walnut cookies, pound cake, caramel cake and sweet potato pies. Family gathers together from all over the place and sit down and enjoy just like you and your family🙏🏾
