Suzhou sauce originated from the Suzhou Bureau specially set up by Emperor Qianlong, who loved Suzhou cuisine, and was later improved by the national treasure-level cooking master Cheng Ruming. It is crispy and spicy, with a slight spiciness that is more like the southern style. It is especially delicious when mixed with noodles or rice.

I remember my grandpa and old generations used it a lot. Same as the knife in video ,very commonly used in underdeveloped Chinese countryside. It’s homemade by hand, iron. use for chop the bone or hard stuff

Her cleaver was made by a blacksmith in her town, for less than $3 each. Sadly, that blacksmith doesn't do online business.
I kept looking for a similar one until I found out it wasn't actually for kitchen use. It is used for cutting trees and chopping wood.
If you know how to use taobao.com, you can search 砍树刀／劈柴刀.
One tip, they may heavier than normal cleaver but it is good as well if you can handle it.

this is not "soft walnut",but squeezing two walnuts together in hand and the softer and thinner one will break, it really needs some little skill.
I am more concerned about her peeling the green peel off just with bare hands, it stains like hell! when we collect walnuts at home we always wear gloves, or else we end up with hands stained for weeks

This is basically a food show with a village/primitive/traditional concept. She doesn't really live like this and this show doesn't portray real village life accurately. If you look closely, that's not a knife.
The "handle" was actually meant to have a (probably long) stick inserted.
It has the weight, it's almost the same shape as the chinese kitchen hatchet, tool steel is easy to sharpen and can take a beating.
And it might have been either cheap or free.
If I tell you, she has three of those knives, made for her by the village blacksmith, each worth ￥15, less than $3, and there are no sales online.This information comes from her Weibo.

Btw, if the guy knows how to make handles, you can get two knives out of the same part. Just cut above the current handle, keep the function as kitchen hatchet, but lighter(might or not be desired) and use the removed part to make a smaller, more precise knife for fine slices, skinning or whittling.

For people that worry that she moves to the city, I think she is just doing stuff that she loves and share it with everyone. She is trying something new, working with different people and learning new stuff. I'm happy that she is not alone and have new team on her back so she can produce better quality video and sharing her culture and lives with us. We just sit down watching youtube, but she spends lots effort to produce all these quality video.
Ever since the beginning of her channel, she has always lived in the city. She goes back and forth between the city and her grandma's farm to take care of her. She said this on many chinese shows before when she first started getting popular.
