On that last one. I so understand how he feels.
I have tinnitus. I constantly hear a varied high and low pitched buzzy/ringing sound in both ears. A few years ago I was found to have a tumour behind my inner ear. It has cause diminished hearing in the right ear, to which I have to use an aid. Since using said aid, my hearing has decreased a bit more in that ear, causing the ringing to become louder. It's so annoying. I often hear chatter too. Like someone has said a bit of a statement, as if they are talking to someone I can't hear. I just wish it would stop. The funny thing is these voices are not my own inner voice, like many think it is. They can be mostly male voices, with a few females thrown in for good measure.
Those flowers are camelias. We have them all over the south. They bloom in February.

The rose - can it not have cuttings taken to allow to root and replant? I was married into a rose-breeding family, oddly enough, here in NZ. My partner taught me how to care for roses, and his great aunt and his uncle were known for various breeds of rose, and had some new roses bred. Anyway they can grow new rose plants from cuttings. It's a process. I wonder why they didn't do the same with this one?
