went down there for weed and found a dream job i could never have in the US because of prohibition. i got my degree in chemistry and bounced with zero dollars had a computer and a phone. the people….. of colombia are the most giving of any people on the planet. knew some spanish and was looking forward to learning the language as much as the weed. keep an open mind, their is a whole universe in colombia.

If you are there long term, you will go through phases. Medellin is great but there are social barriers to contend with, assimilation may take a very long time, dating genuinely may be a problem but it is still possible. You need to reach far out of your comfort zone depending who you are. The reputation of the general westerners are not too positive in Medellin. It may not be the end all be all for the majority. I can see why people may leave, been here 20 days and the vibe is so so. Your normal chicas are not throwing themselves at you, trust me. Pay to play is always there , stay disciplined and try other things. Thanks!
I think learning spanish and going to places where you can actually meet normal women will help with this. Plus its difficult moving to any new city, let alone an international city

As a pro natural competitive bodybuilder and someone who’s visited Medellín for a month, the reason why Colombian food tastes so different is because it’s actually real food. You sound like you’re from America like me. The food in America is not real, made in a factory, filled with artificial sugars to get you addicted, gmos, and articulate flavoring.
I’m sure you noticed that you’ve lost weight, your skin is clearer, and you eat less while in Colombia. It’s because you’ve been detoxed from American junk food. That’s also why the people aren’t as fat and the women look so much better.

There still in the main 3-4 streets on Poblado. Leave that area, and MDE is still the same in my opinion
