Both his parents are professional athletes (mom was a basket ball player, dad was a track & field athlete, long jump, high jump and triple jump specifically)
I assume it helps to grow up with both parents teaching him all the good habits of an athlete

Yes Wemby has offensive Skill.
He can shoot, He can catch Alleys, He can ShammGod, he can jump from beyond outside of the paint call an alley from 3pt Line and still catch it.
Yes Wemby is already a dominant Defensive player.
But honestly Wemby's IQ and Killer Mindset is the scariest thing possible. Yes he is only a rookie but damn. Ive only seen that killer instinct in 3 players (MJ, KOBE, and to a silent degree Tim Duncan). And His IQ already as a rookie His playmaking IQ what JJ Reddick calls "Court Mapping" is incredible, His defensive awareness is incredible.
In short, Wemby is level-headed.

His mindset just might teach us all a thing or two. When Wemby retires he's likely to effing "excel on steroids" at whatever he chooses as a profession. Imagine him as a coach leading yoga and flexibility exercises so that the team's injuries are cut in half. Injuries can be the biggest determinant of post season success. As a coach he'd also influence the team's picks and keep players who have the right mindset because he knows what that looks like. IOW, the team could have a gym and weight room full motivated players spending extra hours to be their best even if they are only 6'2".
As he gets more seniority as a player he might have teammates join him on the yoga mats beside him as well. IOW, the positive impacts Wemby could be bringing are endless. Imagine seeing yoga mats and classes endorsed by Wemby. hahahaha
P.S. I don't do yoga.
