Wonderful demo! Excellent variety of quality tones without a bunch of unnecessary blather. If anyone is interested in a piece of gear, THIS is exactly what they want to see and hear. Great job!
Just bought one also,,,,,KILLER amp, I think I have finally found the one. I CANNOT find anything bad about this amp, best Ive found in 40 years of amp rolling....
I've watched a lot of JAM pedals demos from this channel and now this, and I have to say these are, hands down, the best reviews out there. So cheers to you Alberto. About the amp, this has to be my favourite amp ever. I am a fender guy myself but as a comment says below this is more Fender than actual Fender. Hand-wiring and built-in attenuator (definitely a modern-era need) are great features that account for the high price. But this is it with electric guitar equipment - especially amps - good ones come at a price
Got mine couple weeks ago....then swapped out speaker for a G12M-65 Cream Back...and it mellowed it out wonderfully...closer to my son's Hamstead Artist 20RT combo (with same speaker) which is an absolute dream of an amp. Very happy with my TK....but I'd sell it for a comparably priced used Hamstead in a heartbeat. GREAT demo!!!
I see you have commented about the Hamstead on almost every demo video that exists of it, I know that because I have watched all of them over the past week 😊 I am deciding between the TK and the Hamstead 20 (head and combo only available in Australia currently, so the Hamstead will cost me $600 extra) What would you say is better about the Hamstead in your opinion?
@@mikmc Greetings from USA-WV. It's hard to articulate 'tone'...but to me and my player son, who also has one, it just fills the room with a tonal quality that bests the TK or any other amp we've owned including Fenders, Vox, Roland, Line6Bogner, Mesa, Marshall. Not sure the Hamstead is the most versatile...the TK is clearly more versatile, but for what I play in the comfort of my home, blues, jazz, classic rock (no metal) I just love it. In fact, I doubt my son will ever gig his...it's a homebody amp to be enjoyed casually with an Old Fashion or Cuban cigar. That's my take...sort of like a $7000 Murphy Lab Les Paul....it's special and rarely shared with the unwashed masses. BTW: I blew a power tube today...had to order a set of JJ EL34II's...$60. My amp was used...2020 model or so...
Greetings from an Irish man living in Brisbane Australia 😊 I am lucky to live not too far from Pedal Empire (the shop often mentioned on That Pedal Show) and they will have both set up for me to try next week. They also have a Bensom Monarch reverb coming in soon. I am trying to get that one out of my head, lol So, with the low wattage options, is it possible to get an edge of breakup tone at acceptable home volumes ? Thanks for the reply and info 😊👍
@@mikmc Edge of breakup at home volumes? Ham and TK both have attenuators so I'd say, yes. I use a Timmy for light distortion which doesn't change the actual tone of the guitar...a wonderful (and now pricey) pedal.
Fantastic demo! I really love the way that you transition from one guitar to the next so seamlessly. This demo really helped me out because I own one of each of these guitars that you used in your demo! With cash being scarce, I could not afford the tone king imperial Mark II. . But I lucked out and found a mint, 2007 Mark 1 model with free shipping! Included with a bill of sale was a work order signed off by Mark Bartel where he had freshened up the amp. Replaced all the preamp tubes and put a NOS matched pair of gray bottle RCA 6 V6 power tubes! The amp is nothing short of incredible to say the least.! For years, my rig consisted of a 1966. Fender super Reverb, blackface And a 1965. Fender Reverb also blackface. I didn't think that combination could be beat. But this tongue came. Sounds so much like that. Beautiful Pro Reverb that I had, only better. . John King runs quieter and general and the Fidelity, the low and beautiful meds And that sweet glassy. , non ice-pick high-end is just spectacular. So now I really consists of this tongue king imperial Mark 1 and aa2007 dr. Z Maz 18 jr. With Reverb! I run the amps in Stereo, which is just so cool. But then I've got a app switcher. So it's just a super flexible deal. I guess the point of me going on and on. Is that I don't think you can go wrong with Tone King either the Mark 1 or the mark II for that matter. If you're in the market for an amplifier that does it all and does it better than most, you really can't go wrong here!
Muy buena demo,lo que si a faltado y estoy muy muy interezado en haber escuchado la gipson, con la psatilla del cuello,en el canal rhythm,de ello depende que compre o no,de todas formas gracias
Is this dark in person? It seems tubby and lacking the sparkle you would expect from a Fender Deluxe. It sounds lovely, but not what I expected. Its too dark for my tastes.
He used the foot pedal instead of switching it manually. When you use the foot pedal the front panel switch should remain in the rhythm position. Just an FYI.
What do you use so there is no feedback I have one and idk why it sounds like a Dorito Factory when I change the 5 way pickup to single coil to humbucker and when the cable moves to can you help me out with that?
I have one of these, and it is wonderful. All the tones one could ever want out of one amp, superb.
best demo of this jewel amp.

I love it. Thanks for not using much overdrive.

UPDATE: still love the amp...reverb mix is weak at best, if this amp had fender style reverb it would be a 10 out of 10
Your demo makes the days around Christmas more soportable, great!
I love the colour.
Well...since I live literally 12 minutes from Sweetwater, I'm leaving RIGHT NOW to buy one of these!!! MONSTER DEMO! :)

Great playing sir i just bought this amp i love it
Best demo of the amp!
Ah Ah... I was waiting for this one ! Thank you Alberto. Great tones and playing, as usual
Nice amp!! Thank You.
Did you ever put the guitar on just the bridge pickup, I don't recall hearing it?
Great demo and even greater playing
Brilliant playing, great demo!
Great Amp, great player. Nothing new around here.... 👍

Esta demo sí hace honor al ampli. Brutal sonido. Me tendré que conformar con el neuraldsp que lo imita
Great quality demo, top! You deserve more subs, i’m subscribed, cheers!
Is there any point having this, a Blackstar AND a Mesa Boogie Express?
Or are they all much the same? (newish newbie here to electrics)
totally different amps ..voices ...character
Nice sound.
Sei ilnpiu bravo a presentare ampli e modeler
wow even more fender-ee than a fender
I know right?
Fenderer? Fenderier? Fenderish? Nah, leave Fender out of it- the Imperial is way BEYOND that...

Didnt show.that its also a dumble deluxe when you turn up the mid bite 😜😔👍🏻
Think this guy just sold me a Tone King!!!

Amazing Work.
Hey Cuba. Thanks bro!
Great Demo man...
That tone at 8:11 :O
Is it much better than Supersonic 22?
Yes !
have you happened to find a good overdrive pairing for this amp? Anyone? lol I am having trouble
Ummmm, the lead channel.
Lightspeed by Greer
Lol yea use the lead channel.
I run the lightspeed and nordvang triple gain, tone heaven
Very nice, but what is the "Lesd-Rythm" switch for?
It's for switching between the lead and the rhythm channel
He used the foot pedal instead of switching it manually. When you use the foot pedal the front panel switch should remain in the rhythm position. Just an FYI.
No master volume? So for overall volume you need to go to the back of the amp and tweak the attenuator ? Phew
The amp was attenuated as hell...
I think it does sound better cranked! Cheers
always

Noise gate
what pedals are you using through out the video?
None. Just a little reverb and delay from Fabfilter
@@AlbertoBarrero1 how did you get so much gain out of the amp??
👌🤤👍
Thanks!!!
🗿
Thanks mate!
@@AlbertoBarrero1 Merry Christmas alberto 👋🎭
I don't get why amp companies just copy Fender and then charge $2000 more than they need. Just get a Fender lol
Show me a Fender, HANDWIRED, with all of these features and options, and I’ll agree.
@@jeffmansfield914 there's literally tons of handwired fenders that this is copying

Ok, so link me to some with the same features.
Ha ha - if only they sounded THIS good!
