I love bandits, I noticed you were using some spining reels. How did you determine how much line you let out?
Good question we do have some portable counters we can attach to the spinning reels ( the line feed through ) that get us to our desired range. It is not perfect science with spinning reels but sure is fun. Sometimes we hold a rod out the back and work different depths with the rod and reel in hand. Come tournament time we go almost strictly with the counter reels. Hope that helps…

Sir, what's the red thing in the water?
It is called a planner board … it pulls the lines out to the side of the boat so you can troll multiple lines behind the boat without getting them tangled.

@@user-wc7wx1wy6x we use clip on weights at 50 feet from the lure … when you reel up you have to I clip them but we like this the best ….
