Your video helped a lot on my 71 Chevy truck backup light repair,by identifying the problem of the wire being stuck in the boot,I was able to free the wire by using Kroil penetrating fluid on the wire/boot interface and at the button inside the socket and pushing and pulling until it moved freely enough to get the new bulb in and have spring push it against the base of the bulb,no cutting and spicing required.
