- Do you like to carry a solid steel-framed compact pistol? The Jericho 941 fits that description and delivers reliability as well. I try to be objective when I review, but I like this handgun a lot!
It is understated, not flashy, and has it where it counts. IWI has combined the shoot-ability of the CZ-75 with its own improvements to produce a hybrid carry gun. Follow me for a complete review of this solid steel shooter.
I live in Canukistan, we at present are still aloud to keep and use our handguns we acquired before the dictatorship. Was fortunate to buy a surplus nickel plated 941, love it. I’m in my 60’s and still a fan of Cowboy-bebop.
Very nice. Thanks for sharing Cerberus.
I’m sorry that you have fallen to a dictatorship but we too are constantly fighting them back. Luckily our constitution is strong, brilliantly written, and has supporters.
Who doesn't love this guy's enthusiasm?
I love my Jericho - it's much nicer than I expected and very solid. Shoots like a dream
Great looking gun.......love the fact that it's metal and the grip is the comfortable CZ shape.
Israel know how to do it.
I have pistols from $300 to $3000 and the 941 is one of the softest shooting pistols I’ve had in my hands!!!
Try a Staccato next time.
@@capnb0b578 I have a Staccato P steel frame but in my opinion the 941 shoots a little softer. BUT the Staccato is more accurate.
I just love the IMI 941, and then later the IWI 941. The Jericho is legendary in all ways.
This guy and Hickok would make for a fun review 😊
This was the first pistol I got when I was old enough,I absolutely loved it.I didn’t know much about guns at time I wasn’t aware of the CZ 75.these and 75’s are my favorite full steel guns.
I have been collecting CZ75 variants and clones recently. Some of the polymer offerings are pretty darn sweet as well. P07 and the Jericho 2 are quite nice.
I love my CZ 75 B Urban Grey and P-07. They have that heavy-duty feel. Once you get use to the heavy trigger they are a joy to shoot.
@@georgemartinez9084 I have the P07 and P09 also love those guns also,I’d love to have the extra money to send all three to Cajun GW to get some work done…eventually
Solid pistol and shoots like a dream highly recommend.
Quite fond of mine, highly recommend using Jericho II magazines for it. The steel based 941 mags tend to be a little sharp and uncomfortable on the belt, and they stick out of the bottom awkwardly.
The Jericho II mags have a polymer base and, more importantly, hold an extra round!
I used to have an older model as my work pistol as a security contractor 30 years ago. It was my first pistol and I had nothing to compare it to. I didn't like it back then. Now I think it was great. It's heavy, you can probably knock somebody out with it, but it was ergonomic, fit perfectly in my hand. Has rough edges so it makes holes in your tshirts if you conceal carry. If you practice a lot you need to either tape your hands or wear gloves because of the rough edges.
But overall for what it is - a service pistol for cops and security guards etc - a perfect gun. Very accurate, all controls are in the right place. Only problem I had was some pins were starting to come out after several thousand rounds, so I had to bang them back in. I like it better than the full size Glocks, it's more ergonomic and for me more accurate. Magazine release and the magazines themselves are designed for Israeli style "claw it out and throw it on the ground" approach, which is perfect. Those are not novelty guns like the Desert Eagle, those are real workhorse guns. The trigger is great, single or double action - the reset was just perfect for me in rapid shooting.
Not recommended for concealed carry but otherwise perfect for what it is.
Now this guy has a blast shooting guns. Way too much fun!
Always loved the Jericho
Dude is still rockin the og gen two G17. Nice
Im getting one this weekend, put it on layaway a few days before this video came out.
Very nice. Enjoy FK.
...... very well presented sir .......
Great video… beautiful gun!!!
Let's be honest, we all clicked cause we loved cowboy bebop growing up.

Jericho's are sweet.
Weebs unite!
Cowboy bebop??
@christophersmith9564 the main character of the misfit bounty hunters in space carried a Jericho, literally even in the opening intro to the show they show a silhouette of it zoomed in to almost full screen as he's aiming it to a dope song called "Tank!"
Think cyberpunk the anime but made back in 1995! And with ALOT more humor and drůg use :)
I used to have a CZ85, and that was sweet!
CZ's are very nice.
Wife had a CZ-85, she is a lefty. Had problems with the frame cracking where the right side slide release is. The metal is just machined too thin for the right side slide release. Had CZ replace the gun twice under warranty. Finaly got the wife to train to use only the one side controls and got rid of the CZ 85. She now has a CZ 75 stainless, which has ambi safety and standard slidelock. Have not had a problem since.
The slide relaseing when a new mag is inserted is one of my favorite things about the Jericho941
Dang son, you are on the mark. Definitely a marksman if I ever saw one
Not so much. His shots on paper were too spread out. I can manage a 1/2 " five shot group at 7 yards with my CZ, just one ragged hole. My longer range groups are much tighter too. Also can clear a 6 plate steel rack at 15 yards in under 3 seconds.
Unfortunately this is the old model, can only find used presently. The '22 production changed barrel rifling/material, and went to a strange slide with endcap design thing.
I pray I'm this cool when I'm older.
I love mine. That thing EATS recoil for fun.
Nice piece !❤
I bought mine in 1993 when the safety/decocker was on the slide. I replaced the recoil spring with one that was capable of Handeling +p rounds. As the older models were not. Bad thing was I had to order the recoil spring from overseas and it took like 2 months to get here, and it was expensive. With Glock parts are more available.
I’m interested in a new 9 mm but I am also interested in getting a new 45. I think I’m going to get the desert eagle 1911c
Can't go wrong with a Desert Eagle. We have them new and used on our site if you're interested PBBC.
It is not an Israeli Improved CZ-75. It's a re-shaped Tanfoglio who also made the Witness for EAA, and are now imported independently by The Italian Firearms Group. You can call the Witness, or its predecessor, the TZ-75, a clone of the CZ-75, but it used a modified trigger system that many prefer over the CZ-75. Originally, when they were IMI and now IWI, the Israelis imported parts from Tanfoglio in Italy to build the Jericho.
I would say it's an updated and improved CZ-75. Do love the Bul Storm to.
Thank you for the comment Kevin.
Not even close 😂. Would never trust a cz75 or a tangfo as a defensive firearm. I own multiple of all 3 and the Jericho wins in any scenario. It is a cz75 clone not tangfo. Tangfo parts are easier to fit but they are two completely different handguns
🇮🇱💋👌❤️👍🇮🇱
@@Lostsouls5557CZs are some of the most reliable pistols ever made. Why would you not trust them for defense? You are either a snob or an idiot.
See You Space Cowboy…
this guy is the GREAT VALUE version of Hickock45.
Spike Spiegel is smiling somewhere right now.
See you space cowboy
Great review. Thank you
Sweet 9mm
Yes Sir.
I'm 68 and ready to buy my first gun. This is nice and the Massada i like too.The Kimber r7 mako round out my short list. I'd really appreciate some guidance as I'm a total noob, but hungry to learn.
Ronbo is the man…
Most unrated 9mm in world shoot good for size double single trigger pull is really pleasure to use. I really enjoy own my self.

Looks like a CZ. I have a CZ SP-01 with Cowboy Bebop grip panels.
I like the grips on that one. Mine has a light alligator skin pattern. If your hands het wet they can become slippery
Najlepszy pistolet w świecie.
You know these are nice guns but I really prefer the old CZ 75 .
Agreed.
Same.
Why is he saying 1911?
What should he be saying?
He is an old fart. 1911 is how all old farts judge all other guns
Cause he s out of bb s man
It's a diet desert eagle
Maybe a1911 is a diet desert eagle so it shoots bbs
That ol boy hits what he aims at!
Like for enthusiasm! ❤
I need one to compliment my Uzi
👍
I believe you can get the CZ mags that hold 17
I thought this was just discontinued? I have the Canadian version.
What is the distance?
technically it is a tanfoglio clone.
Technically a baby eagle no?
Ran out of bb's 😅😅😅..cool guy!
I've been thinking about getting one of these, but I'm not sure about availability of spare parts here in Austria. How many rounds can you realistically put through this gun before needing any replacement?
Depends on how hot a load you are shooting. Recoil springs need changeing out every 800 to 1000 rounds on some guns. CZ say to switch recoil springs every 5K rounds. Most other parts (eg extractor) should last 10K rounds or more.
WHat grips are those? I have a 941 and the stock grips are not those!
LOK grips has you covered if you want some new ones. Highly recommend.
I was all in til I saw that trigger pull 😬. If anyone here has 1, please let me know your experience with that
It is a nice trigger. Shoots tight groups if you can do your part. Depends on how well you train and how good you are. Nothing wrong with the gun.
First round misfires then..its a ___
See you space cowboy
Funny enough iwi makes guns in PA not Israel
Israel didn't improve jack shit over the CZ. All they did was have an Italian manufacturer (Tanfoglio) produce one of their clones for them. All they did was tweak the aesthetics.
Even the "Made in Israel" rollmarks are a lie; the parts are all still made in Italy by Tanfoglio and merely assemble in Israel.
IWI... the company that designs the aesthetics of guns before actually engineering them (looking at you, Tavor).
That said, I have two Jerichos and absolutely adore them. I wouldn't call them improvements to the CZ design at all, but rather aesthetically different copies. In fa t, they're quite a bit heavier for better and worse. I like them every bit as much as my CZs, but truth is important.
👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻‼️
israel knows how to make good guns lol
No, they don't. They know how to appropriate other countries good guns, planes, etc. Israel does not make shit (well, maybe they do but its really gross and smelly)..
CZ75 can't be improved on
Hell yeah
There is ALWAYS room for improvement. You’ve been spending to much time around Glock fanboys.
No, CZs are the epitome of 9mm design, which is why they are copied so much.
@@OldGrayCzechWolfTo bad it's only 9mil, it's good for kids and women's tho
Its like a Hickok45 video except without the useless rambling in circles and him taking 60% of the video to slowly shoot 2 liter fantas off the 15 yard targets. Its great
Nothing like a 1911 it's a CZ75 knock off.
Glock jest gorszej jakości niż Jericho 941 FS!
It was not improved, it was stolen. First by the Italians and then by the Israelis. Not the first time that the Israelis (and/or other nations) appropriated a Czech design either. I have all, CZs,, Tanfoglio TZ 75 series 88, IWI Jericho 941 F and Turkish Canik 55. There are no improvements, just copies with frame shape and slide variations. One can not improve on Czechnology.
If you care about your gun rights, please don't do business with this company, from a gun owner to others, thanks me later.
Why?
I don’t trust IWI after finding photos of their Jerichos being made in a Vietnamese factory. Google Z111 factory if you’re curious.
Looks ugly. Why would you buy it instead of a CZ?
Discount hickok45 ❤️
