hI, the extended range 77 kwh is an Essence model not a Excite and the drivers seat is 6 way electric so doesn't have lumber support, I have a 64 kwh Essence in Camden Grey ordered and funny enough it is from Jerry Pan at MG Ebbett, cheers
@@glennmorrell8964 nice! Congrats, the EV market is definitely getting more affordable with more brands coming out with new models and more competition, which is very good for consumers 😄
Awesome car, with the warranty and value for money personally I wouldn’t look at an ICE vehicle. In China there’s reports there’s plenty of taxi/uber ev’s pushing 400000km on the same battery with around 300km of useable range. As a run about sign me up🤘🤘
Yes, the EV technology is definitely getting more mature. In China, the proportion of EV vs ICE cars are very high, mainly because EVs are not expensive in China, and you get a free license plate (you need to pay for a ICE license plate)
Can you tell me if I am correct in my understanding that the LFP battery has greater longevity than the LNC battery? I believe the LFP battery can handle much more charge cycles than the LNC even though the latter have greater density and therefore offers greater drive range. I would love to hear your thoughts because I’m about to purchase the Excite 51.
@@birdieh1716 yes you can charge LFP to 100 and use to 0% vs the NMC should be kept between 20 and 80% to get more longevity.. Personally I would've loved LFP on the higher trims
LFP battery is a NON issue. how many tesla has burned, not very much. and that started in 2008 ... so LFP may have better burn risk, but ipractical LFP is cheaper to make, but the burn thing is NOT importent because the colbolt battery do not burn.. then burn is caused because people use Wrong charger. that is NOT the battery fault.
@@sundaymorningdrivesSo my estimate was not too far haha.. I think it's the perfect height for passengers in the back because your thighs seem to be sitting well vs having your knees in your cheeks
Nice informative video, thanks for sharing!….
@pete9b thank you, glad you enjoyed it 😊, are you looking to get one?

Nice one! Thanks for the facts, and congratulations on your purchase! Is this your first EV?
yes this is my first foray into EV cars, was going to get a Hybrid but they are more expensive than an full EV then MG4 came out.

Great Review!
Thanks bro! Can't wait to review the xpower 😄

@@sundaymorningdrives smart government!
The MG4 is a C Segment hatchback Not a SUV. Also remember the Excite 51 also has a LFP Battery and all the longer range batteries are LNC type.
Thanks for the info, do you own one yourself?

Great review brother. Question, the prices you mentioned, are they New Zealand prices?
Yes, they are NZ prices, you looking to buy one?
You should mention your height when showing seating space.. You seem 5"7 ish
Yup, I usually do, forgot this time 😆
I am 175cm

@Airbag888 yes, it's actually very spacious, thanks to the long Wheelbase
Very ugly but I like the chrome mg logo😮
Haha, I guess styling is something very subjective?
What it’s a stunning looking vehicle in any colour 😮
@allybammatherealone6940 I tend to agree with you, at least it's trying to be a bit different from some of the boring evs in the market
@@sundaymorningdrives I’ve heard many things about this car but never ever has anyone hated the style and looks of it
🤷♀️ everyone’s diff
@allybammatherealone6940 yup, I think it looks pretty special, what do you think of it as a total package?
